I mean Xbox as it is has a system in place so when you download DLC it gives licensing to that console but only once a year you can switch the licensing to another console. It might work something like that however im just grasping as straws with that answer.

Interesting...I never heard those rumors before recently but this does bring me hope! If they are true however, I wont buy either system. Heck I wont buy the new xbox if it is truly $800 but then again if I can't transfer my Gamerscore I wont get it either. I am sure they will make it transferable somehow but what about past achievements that you haven't unlocked? They would have to make it retro play games. and if it plays 360 games and has your previous Gamer Tag how is it all that different from 360? So have you heard about the built in kinect and blu ray player for the 360? Just wondering if you also heard these rumors.

same goes for my trophies on ps3....

As for the licenses was that changed or has it always been every four months? Because a few years ago when I got the RROD the Microsoft rep on the phone said it was once a year.

I know Sony was in danger of something similar happening to the PS3 at one point, but still. If this ban does happen, I can kinda see Microsoft rushing out the next XBox this year to make up for loss sales and it won't be as complete as it should've been. Then Sony would also have to rush their console to next year so they won't be too far behind.

No, these things are always negotiated out before they come to an enforced judgement. Patent laws and related rights issues are all part of the modern day technology business. Companies are buying up patents just to have weapons to use against others if they are themselves attacked on patent grounds.

Which is funny because Nintendo did nothing but pander to its own fans and showcase first person titles and...really nothing else.

Nintendo's confrence sucked and I'm a big Nintendo fan. All they really showed off is they are getting games that came out a year ago... Yay. There were honestly only three titles they announced that I'm somewhat intrested in but they are not nearly enough to convince me to get the Wii U.

Edit: BTW Ubisoft won.

Guy purchased a game developer for the new xbox that hasn't been announced. It was 20k and apparently it came with pics of the Kinect 2. Guess we will find out if this is true or not soon enough.

i can no longer use Youtube XL on my Nintendo Wii...i have the wiiware download but it can't run all videos and i can't check the stars the videos for ratings...or log into my account because i don't have a Wii-U

Hate the new Dashbord for the 360 takes way to long to load everything
