The Laurs are a race of intelligent and cunning fox people who are best suited to the cities, mainly because they can easily find someone to outsmart. Raly and Jay stood over the grave of old boss. "I still don't see why you care so much about a human." Jay said quietly.
Raly slapped Jay in the back of the head. "Have some respect for the dead. This man was one of the finest people I ever met... I only regret that I couldn't save him." Raly said putting a small flower on the grave. "I miss you pops." Raly said as he turned and walked away. The young Warenel and his Lago charge walked back into the city.

Raly and Jay walked down the main street to the general store. They bought some seeds and a few tools so they could finally start rebuilding the farm they had once lost. "We gonna have a real home? can I have my own room?" Jay asked as they left the general store, feeling excited.
Raly grinned and started to walk toward the old burnt barn. "Certainly... I don't want you in mine." Raly joked, nudging the young lago with his elbow.
Jay laughed and nudged him back. He felt very happy that Raly had found him after he had run from the slavers, if he hadn't then the slavers would have taken him back. Jay knew that Raly was the closest thing to a brother he ever had, even if he was a warenel. Jay ran in front of Jay and walked backwards so the could talk. "Will you teach me to fight?" Jay asked, putting his hands up and throwing a few clumsy punches.
Raly nodded. "Of course, can't have you gettin picked on by all the other children." Raly said honestly.
Jay jumped up and down and nearly tripped as he kept walking backwards. Then he looked up at Raly again. "And will you teach me to shoot like you?"
Raly shook his head. "I can't teach you that until you're a bit older... maybe next year on your birth day." Raly said, putting his hand on top of Jay's head.
Jay sighed. "Alright." Jay said before he got excited again and began to dance as he followed Raly, celebrating the fact that he would get his own room in the house they were on there way to build.

Miloe lay sleepily in the thick green grass beside the ranch. She watched the cloudy sky up above as it rolled across the endless blue abyss. A horses high pitched whinney shook her thoughts and she sat up. One of her favorites, Brindell, was standing over her. He dipped his huge white nose and snuffle dher face, blowing some of her hair back.
" Brin!"
She said , laughing. She stood and took his halter and leadrope. Some clumsy stablehand must've let him go. She looked the sleek stallion over as she stood, letting a sigh escape her throat.. She felt lucky to just be next to this amazing animal. He snorted again as her eyes followwed each of his magnificant features.
Two wonderfully deep, hazel eyes would catch Miloe's gaze as she stared off, dreaming about owning him. A shining white pelt reflected luminously on a summer day, and glowed in the luminescense of a full moon. A huge, shapely head bobbed as she would hold treats for him to take into his sensitive mouth. Long locks of pure silk billowed as he ran, and flagged out beautifully behind him as well. His four jet black hooves pulled him effortlessy over the land, connecting with strong, tense muscles, ready to leap him forward at any given moment.
A nudge knocked her out of her daze, and she laughed, stumbling over. He was truley the image of grace. She stopped ofr a moment, wondering something. She pulle dher self onto his broad back, feeling him take a few uncomfortable steps forward but then reclaiming his dignity, head held high. She patted his neck gently and looked upwards atthe sky before reeling the leadrope through the other halter loop as makeshift reigns.

She moved her hands in a fast paced succesion before her, summoning northward rising winds, and held on tight as Brindell bagan to levitate. For a moment he struggled, pawing nervously, and snorting in fear, but soon realized the wind was a makes shift ground. He pulled forward suddenly, Miloe struggling to keep holding on tight. She laughed and interlaced her fingers through his mane as he got the hang of it and took off.
Kai was walking down a path towards town. he hoped someone would be dumb enough to play him a game of dice or cards. He was possebly the best at those... cheating. He saw two people walking (Raly and Jay) He walked up to them "Evening.." he said "Sorry, im a wondering challenger of sorts, and if your not scared to test your luck, would you care to play me a game of cards?"

Raly smiled. "I don't like to carry a loaded gun... people get hurt that way." Raly said, turning and grabbing Kai's hand and flipping him onto the ground. Raly stood over Kai and took back his gun, he then took the bag and pored it out into his hand. "flash explosives... you should have checked the bag other wise I could have I could have lit these and kept you dazed long enough to get away with everything you own." Raly said putting the small explosive in his pocket. "Do yourself a favor... learn to chose your rubes more carefully." Raly said walking away.

He looked ahead and smirked "A race... One coin for the winner..." Kai held up a gold coin and smirked "If you can get to the farm before i do, i will give you this gold coin, and if i win... i want your gun... unless your scared to have a fair race.."
