Raly shook his head. "You haven't learned your lesson... I'm not like the normal suckers you've met. I've learned to be smart with my bets." Raly kept walking. Raly stopped and sighed, he remembered what Boss had told him about people like Kai. "Come with me... we have a few things to talk about." Raly said as he walked.

Kai shrugged "I wasnt actualy planing on cheating..." he said and followed him "What would you possebly want with a person like me eh?" he asked. He sighed as he followed "What would you actually WANT to talk to me about?"

Raly kept walking. "You need to learn an important lesson about what it takes to be a man." Raly said walking up the road toward his old home.

Kai actually tripped and fell flat on his face when he heard what Raly said. He laid there for a second and stood up. "Ya know, i coulda sworn you were just about to give me a life lecture... but my ears have been bugging on me lately.. please repeat.."

Raly kept walking. "I am going to give you a lecture... later though, I was on my way to make diner." Raly said walking up the hill to the small barn where he had been living for the last few months. "Come on in." Raly said leaving the door open.

Kai groaned 'here we go again...' he though to himself. he walked through the doorway and stood there, examining his surroundings. "I don't really feel welcomed.." he said and followed Raly.

Raly set down the bag of seeds he was carrying. "Listen kid, you and I are more alike then you might realize. We're both gamblers, and we have both gotten ourselves into trouble for it." Raly said taking some bread from a cupboard. "I could have gotten myself killed if I hadn't learned an important lesson. Do you want to know what I learned?" Raly asked, as he took a pot from a shelf and began cutting vegetables into it.

Kai rolled his eyes. "No, but im sure you're going to tell me.." he said and leaned against the wall boredily. This wasnt the first time someone has tried to takl some sense into him, and it probebly wouldnt be the last. He was made to get money, by cheating if necesarry. He doesnt give up, never does.

Raly laughed. "I said the same thing when my father asked me that question." Raly said as he put a lid on the pot and let it cook. "I learned that a man has to know what it means to have values... Is there anything you can think of that is more important then money?"

Kai thought a moment "Never had anything other..." he said "Ive had a boring life, only money give me excitement." he sighed and extended his claws. He looked at them boredily.

Raly shook his head. "You have a lot to learn." Raly said as he went to the window and pointed at Jay. "My young friend out there used to be a slave... he didn't know it was even possible for a person like him to live a normal life." Raly said going back to the pot and stirring the contents. "It took him a while, but I think he is finally getting used to life as a normal kid." Raly stopped stirring and looked up at Kai. "Tell me something... what did you think when I told you Jay used to be a slave?"

Raly shook his head again. "A friend who is never there is no friend... Do you remember your family? Can you tell me a little about them?" Raly asked, hoping to learn something that might help.
