I'm confident that I know more about music than you. For one, you seem to limit yourself to one genre, that being metal.

I don't limit myself to one genre at all, you just made that up on the spot without any basis.

Nothing Else Matters sounds nothing like pop rock.

I have listened to some songs from TDEP that sound like yes it should have a core afterwards. I didn't invent the terms (hardcore, mathcore, grindcore) they're all there, and the music fits that description more than heavy metal IMO.
Obviously this really bothers you for some reason, but tbh you're the onlyperson/source that I've seen labeling them heavy metal.

It doesn't matter what Wikipedia tells you. Mathcore and grindcore are useless. Just like folkmetal, vikingmetal and battle metal. Basically everything ranging from TDEP to Iron Maiden can be considered metal. There are certain subgenres that I have no problem with, because they actually make sense. Like Black metal, Death Metal, Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, Power Metal or Industrial Metal.

I'm not making anything up.

You can hardly deny that whenever you're on here, and you talk about having went to some gig, having heard a new album or having discovered a new band, it's usually a metal gig, album or band.
