hey bruce, you live in LA, how far are you from that egyptian theater thing? did you notice any commotion there last night? Heart Like A Hand Grenade posters anywhere? do you know of this gay leather club near there?
I don't live too far from the Egyptian theater but I really didn't notice much..
No, why?
We told her about it after the show, and she seemed fine about it. No remorse.
Did anyone by any chance get to go to the afterparty? I'm only 19 so I couldn't get in even if I wanted to. I have to say "Filthy Gay Leather Bar" sounded fun.
I was surprised by the amount of rather homophobic language used in the film. The lisping voices and the repeated use of "***" was a little off-putting. Diana's friends were making gay jokes. I didn't feel like bringing up my sexuality and getting into an argument. I needed good karma that day.
Diana and I had been eating pizza when Roecker first came out and greeted people (around 5:30 or so) and he commented to Diana how she smelled good. It was the pizza.
Then I grabbed John's dick. No lie, I did. There's photographic evidence. I was originally just putting my hand over his crotch for the picture, because people before Diana and I had grabbed his ass, so I figured a fake-out, hand over John's crotch picture would be funny and in the spirit of things. Then the ladies taking the picture insisted that I actually grab John's package. So I did. He should really wear thicker pants. I felt EVERYTHING.
What pissed me off was that after the show, one of the guys that was with Diana and I went up to Roecker, who thought that he was the one who grabbed his dick. Considering I got teased by that guy for doing it, I figured I would clear things up. I told John "you know I was the one who grabbed your crotch."
He was like "oh." I asked him "didn't you recognize my hands?"
He tells me this:
"Well, I recognized the smell."
I have to say that this, in addition to the genuine friendliness and generosity (LFDF shirts!) of John, made for one of the best nights ever.
Also, John's charismatic gay friends seemed nice.
