OMFG around the right time wtf..... so Green Day happend to be around after Nirvana opend the door for the punk Generation. everyone starts somewhere. There is no such thing as a band only being popular if its in "the right place at the right time". if that were true EVERY band in the world that is popular would fall into that catergory. Otherwise they wouldn't be popular would they noob?
I figured the genre of music became popular when a band decided "Hey lets do something new" and then did it. If the type of music was hated then it would of stopped and no other bands would be like that. However people like new things. Doesnt matter if they sucked or not cause that might of been how it was supoposed to be played.
