Interesting to note the small section on Malaria.
I've seen estimates of deaths from Malaria of up to 2 million per year, and VSauce does not gloss over this fact. Note that this matches or exceeds some of, if not most of, the worst case predictions for our current pandemic, and does so, or at least did so, nearly every year.
In fact, although VSauce probably overstates the case:

And your evaluation of them, having plentiful mainstream echoing now, is actually a bit more reserved than that of some End-Times believing Protestant churches, who may tell you flatly that the Catholic Church IS the anti-christ ...
Don't even get me started on the Catholics, the church founded by Peter whom Jesus declared upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it... He was right the priests who ruled with an iron fist conquered it and turned it into a degenerate collection of child molesters... priests who KNEW THE RULES, KNEW WHAT WASN'T ALLOWED AND DID IT ANYWAY!!
