USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

Prepare to blow some luck points guys... Don't be stingy.

(I know that, Kyle, but it's obviously something Drakkon does NOT want, and really can't lead to much good any way it comes out. Rhys is attempting to help Drakkon, even if the gesture might only grab Vasilik's attention...)

It might get Vasilik trying to kill you as well. Why so fast on the trigger? You aren't an Imperial.

Rebel leaping before looking? I know guns do crap against Osokans, so I'm obviously not intending to injure him. Hell, he didn't even feel Sasha's shot.

Drakkon wanted him to stop, Rhys was attempting to stop him. I'd think having my knife shot out of my hand would at least convince me to stop and look around.

(Luck! I completely forgot about that one. Hehe, doesn't look quite as bad as it did a minute ago. I've got Lucky and Fortune to spend, so hey!)

I am really going to have to stop you on that one, Rhys.

If he had proceeded he would have been attacked by both Vasilik and Drakkon. Vasilik is in no mood for messing around now and would have proceeded to try and mincemeat him, Drakkon would have gone on the offensive also, although he would have gone for an arrest. It is a capital offence to attack a Lodge Master, and doing it in Drakkon's own throne room undermines his authority.

The action would have ended with Rhys either dead or under arrest and resulted in a general expulsion of the Rebels which is too much of a game changer for everyone else for me to allow.

It's not about looking before you leap, Rhys. It's about not always taking violent action. You are the good guys, remember? And you aren;t even a dedicated combat template. What is your special ability? Charm. Why didn't you try and talk him down?

Eerin will take another shot at a TIE, since he doesn't have to worry about piloting. 😱

Small delay in the fight update as I await the Imperial plan now you are fleeing.

Okay, since the freighters are coming in, Scarlet is going to power up her ship to meet them and guide them to the landing spot.

Just making sure, but when she guides them down, she will hail them and tell them to follow, then lead them down into the jungle so that the Imps can't just track us there.

(Rebels don't shoot the people they're trying to help 😛 )

Sasha moves to block the doorway.

"Vasilik, you mustn't instigate fighting between the Lodges!" Sasha pleads. "The Imperials could easily use it as an excuse to invade. I allowed Vormax to make me fight in order to gain the weapons back for Drakkon. It's okay."

(Damn it, I hate being a Rebel...)

Rhys moves to stand next to Sasha. "She's right, pal. Last thing you want to do is practically ask the Stormtroopers to flood the city. Infighting on planets he thinks he controls doesn't exactly make the Emperor happy!"

(Scarlet, help us fight if you can get here in time, we can't leave any around to follow or see where we go.)

Scarlet, that rules you out doing anything else in the afternoon, ok?

Question for the Rebel guys- that freighter that was going to flee is now more or less back to where it started. Any plans for it?

"I will KILL HIM!" yells out Vasilik, seemingly not hearing. "Ohhh, he thinks he is the BIG CHIEF... he sends his people to beat up little girl... well, I shall give him a PROPER fight!"

He bursts through the entry hall to the top of the outside walkway.

Outside there there is an Imperial General and about a hundred Stormtroopers. Oooh.

(Crap, the lagger.)

"Hey Cassius. You better go back and escort that last freighter. We can take care of ourselves."

'Ok Gotcha."
I will do that, and go escort that freighter down.

That's fine. I'd rather have the weapons well hidden from prying Imperial eyes and not go on my little stormtrooper hunting expedition than be blown up from orbit since we're not in the shield...

We could pull it off at night, anyways.

(Not to mention that we'd all be there...)

Sasha blinks.

"Greetings, General," she says, coming to Vasilik's side, curtsying to the General. "I trust your flight to the surface was smooth?"

Rhys ducks back in before attracting notice and goes straight to Drakkon. His voice quiet but strained with urgency, he says to the Guildmaster, "I think we have a problem. Imperials are at your front door, including a General. The Duchess can keep 'em back for a while, but we need to get the weapons out of here now. Are there any hidden rooms, underground tunnels, anything like that that's fast?"

Ok, just presenting the final situation to the Imperials.

"Andran tells me they can't touch the weapons in here," Drakkon says. "Senatorial privilege or some such thing. Still, it would be well to clear Vasilik's people out. I'll do that, you calm Vasilik down!"

-

The General is asking Vasilik what appears to be wrong. Vasilik is yelling in a mixutre of Basic and Osokan about where his knife might end up.
