USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

Started by Jazzman_78280 pages

Kyle climbs out of the reactor access pit, disgusted. It was worse than he thought, he had to get the Last Laugh to a repair facility to fix it. Or bring all sorts of parts and equipment here, which would be a nightmare. Kyle is starting to think it wasn't a successful landing at all. He'll be lucky if his ship ever leaves the planet. Well, there are other things to worry about right now.

Kyle grabs whatever gear he can salvage, little as that is, and prepares for an expedition into the jungle. At first light, or first dim he thinks gloomily, he'll head off in search of Eerin and the others.

Vasilik, meanwhile, is introducing you to the Osokan Hunting skiffs.

These are fast hover vehicles they use to traverse the jungle. They are two-person vehicles, with cargo storage in which to store trophies, and a heavy laser mounted on the rear, for use if things turn nasty whilst out on the Hunt.

Vasilik has four available to use.

Sounds fun.

Rhys looks one of the skiffs over nonchalantly. "Not bad, considering. Vasilik, are these fast enough to outrun those raptors?"

"Oh yes, very fast," he says. "Of course, you must not steer into tree."

"Right..." Rhys greens a bit. "But that shouldn't be much of a problem..." I hope! He seats himself in the one he was checking out and looks over the controls.

Ooh, Piloting..
I wouldn't mind going now...

"Ah, no, Zalandos, I did not mean myself," Galahad replies, chuckling. "I meant would you mind if I sent you with them? You are my bodyguard, but you are still human. To send you into conflict with Imperial forces against your will would be poor conduct on my part."

Nifty! Scarlet will most definitely pilot one of these crafts.

Here's who we've got so far...

Scarlet
Sasha
Cass
Ranad
Zalandos
Rhys

We'll probably run into Kyle and Eerin along the way.

Is Vasilik coming? And he's supplying Osokan troops, correct?

We should work out who's piloting and who's gunning. I'd put Rhys, Cass, and myself on piloting. We can put Sasha gunning, probably Ranad and Zalandos too. Until we run into Kyle and Eerin, Osokans can drive the fourth skiff.

Vasilik is coming, but on his own.

Hmm. No other Osokans eh? Oh well.

We might want to make it so that Vasilik doesn't have to walk back when we find Kyle and Eerin. ermm Perhaps leave Zalandos behind? We're all away, so if Galahad got into trouble, he'd need his bodyguard.

Ush, are we gonna RP out my landing and such, or is that kinda done with??
Also since I have kinda neglected him, can my R2 droid kinda pinpoint Kyle from the Air on my way in? So we know where to pick him up?

It's done with.

And yes, from that altitude, your droid could have pinpointed his position.

Moving on soon, folks... not for any specific reason (though the Imps ARE behind), but simply because I seem rushed off my feet, RP-wise, right now!

alright cool...

Ok, then you guys are going...

INTO THE JUNGLE!!!!!!!

Not wanting to sound silly here, bu is there a plan? Else it might default to Vasilik's idea.

Zalandos will stay with you, Galahad. But Ranad can come with Sasha, if she is going.

Getting into evening on this day now.

I was thinking Sasha's plan of guerilla tactics, followed by our other suggestion of not dying.

"Guerilla tactics" is about as vague as "let's fight the Imperials". It's not a plan.

Ok first, we need to make sure we have room for Kyle and Eerin... Just re-iterating that.
Ok, well we could go with my original plan, which was to find the thing they are using to keep the jungle out of their compound, disable it, and let the raptors do our dirty work.
But to actually sabotage this, It might be helpful to stage like an attack or something on the opposite side of the base, to draw the troopers away, then sneak in, sabotage the device, (shield Generator, or whatever) and then get out, and just run like hell.

(I had thought there was a plan already, just couldn't remember it.)

As Kyle sits alone in the dark ship, he quickly tires of the waiting. With no comm gear functioning, he can think of only one other way to call for help. He opens the top hatch in his ship and climbs out onto the hull. He's already considered his options. As far as he can see, he can wait for help or wander off into the jungle. Waiting for help could take more time than the tean could afford. Wandering into the jungle at night alone would be suicide, if he ran into any of those raptors. If no one comes for him by daybreak he'll leave, but until then he's going to try to get found.

Drawing his blaster pistol, he points it skyward and fires off three slow blasts. After about a minute, he fires three more, hoping that anyone within sight or earshot of the bolts would be able to get a bearing on his location. His plan is to repeat this process every fifteen minutes for the next few hours. Then he'll get some sleep.

That's assuming they even have something, Cass. The Osokans use a massive wall to keep the Jungle life out of Lanzar City, what's to say that the Imperials have anything better than walls?

In any case, Eerin keeps on truckin'...

Most likely we are going to be destroying equipment, whatever equipment we can get our hands on. Perhaps AT-STs. Definitely stormtroopers. We need to disable their war equipment.

In any case, I say we strike, then retreat, then move to a different part of the camp and strike again, repeat repeat repeat.
