That's assuming they even have something, Cass. The Osokans use a massive wall to keep the Jungle life out of Lanzar City, what's to say that the Imperials have anything better than walls?

Kuylen used sonic transmitters to hold off/kill insects way back when, so what's to say that the Imps don't have similar tech to scare off all animals?

Anyway, I'd go for a quick attack on one part of the landing area to draw attention by the more battle-intended, with the less so going from the other side to mess with the equipment. Then the jungle can do its own work.

If that's not the solution, continual attacks might work for a time as we keep moving around.

Ush, somehow I doubt simply walking into the area to use talky skills would do much more than have me arrested?

Uhh, because a big wall takes a longer time the 2 or 3 hours to set up.
Remember, we've been here under 2 days, and they already have landed, AND set up in the jungle...

Well We could keep all of these in mind, but I really think we should focus mainly on seeing what they use to keep the jungle at bay, and sabatoging that.
Maybe Vasilk has Raptor attractant.
that would be fun.

Thing is, Raptors only reduce manpower. We want to reduce their walkers and artillery to scrap.

Wait a tick... DOES Vasilik have something to attract the raptors? Like carcasses for luring purposes?

Or if not, we could kills a couple of the less dangerous jungle animals and MAKE bait.

Then we can plant that inside the landing area somewhere, in multiple locations, and sit back with popcorn and piña coladas!

...metaphorically, of course. Rhys forgot the popcorn.

Uhh, still, Their F'in raptors.
it might Persuade them a bit to abandom the jungle base.
We could always sabatoge first, then bait the raptors and run.

Ok, lets not get caught up in this part, We need to think like the imps, or not like us.
What could happen that would mess our plan up?

Them having a sensible perimeter guard, being Imps with relatively large amounts of expendable Stormies.

I very highly doubt that the Imps will actually pull out, unless everyone there dies anyways.

I suggest talking to Vasilik about baiting and such...see what tickles a raptor's fancy, makes it tick...

Ok well a perimiter guard could be thwarted by attacking one side of the base, causing them to rush over to that side, while the other gain entry or whatnot at the other side.

Yes... we should find out what makes a raptor tick, alright. Pull out the red couches and horrible fake psychiatrist accents, too!

Rex won't allow the Imps to pull out unless everyone but him is dead.

Well if these are properly trained military soldiers, they're not gonna move unless ordered. Having them all rush to one side of the installation would be an Officer's error, and we don't even know if any players are there to make that error.

They're stormies. They'll run to the fight...

They have a Commander, but Jamie's not all that dupable.

In any case, attacking from different sections (dividing our group) and then positioning our groups to attack elsewhere, then possibly uniting for one big strike...whatever.

Pulling back into the jungle should convince them not to follow. Especially if he we keep firing as they advance and the jungle's inhabitants give them shit...

(In all the ruckuss, did we end up with any heavy weapons at all? Those AT-AT's and then the AT-ST's are the biggest problems. I have a feeling that there aren't enough stormtroopers to take the city if they go in unarmored. The way Vasilisk and co shrugged off blaster hits says that an Osokan can last a pretty long time against small arms. It's the big stuff that will ruin the day. While having the raptors eat Stormtroopers certainly won't hurt us, we can't forget about the big stuff. So...do we have anythig that can take out big stuff? Do the Osokans?)

Well we might not have to deal with the big things,
Think about it,
Its this really dense jungle, The At-At's and AT-ST's are gonna need some form of path to get to the city, so if we destroy the path-maker thing, we should be ok.

(I'll bet the AT-AT's are the path maker things. Remember Endor? Lanzar might be thinker, but it wasn't having any problems on Endor. If an AT-ST's blast can split trees, the AT-AT's can probably remove them.)

Yeah, AT-STs are BUILT for that.

It'd be good if we could get what portion of our stuff that Sasha got back with us.

And Eerin carries a rocket launcher. How does that work against AT-STs, Ush?

Is there a chance that a Pilot could actually STEAL an AT-ST, Ush?

(That would be cool! If not for the advantage we would earn, then for picturing the expression on Rex's face! Someone come get Kyle and Eerin, we'll steal it for ya.)

First off, indeed, not a talky situation.

Secondly, you ask Vasilik about whther it is possible to attract raptors, and he simply smiles.

Thirdly, if any of you are spotted there, the Imperials will be very happy.

Fourthly, you have some explosives but you need a lot of that stuff to blow up an AT-AT. You're actually badly equipped; stemming from the start of the game.

Fifthly, yes you can use Havy Weapons to rocket an AT-ST but it takes balls.

Sixthly, of course you can steal one; that is part of what Rebels are about.

But attacking the camp so directly is really high risk.

(Do bugs even have balls? If we can't shoot one, let's steal an AT-AT, like Rhys said. If there are others, we can use the stolen one to destroy/disable them. One problem with stealing an AT-AT that I can see would be getting away. Not exactly high speed. Might want to consider jacking it, destroying stuff with it, then self-destructing/disabling that one.

Any luck being spotted by Eerin?)

I imagine that big grin isn't the prettiest thing in the galaxy to look at...

So we're really not in a position to down AT-ATs, but it might be possible to do stuff to the AT-STs. Though still risky, of course.

Seeing as Scarlet is the only one with Intrusion (How the HELL did THAT happen?!) then if we get the chance she can attempt to steal a chicken walker.

That would be a secondary objective, of course.
