Any particular tactics being employed here?

(I'd think we just start out at what seems a reasonably fast speed. Start throwing chunks out the back, and see what happens. Also, we should spread out to begin with to cover a large area of the lake. Then when we get the interest of whatever it is, we can each begin heading straight for the camp.
Let's say, start out a 1/2 mile or so out and go straight across. When you get a bite, turn to the camp. Also, are we throwing bait out, or just dragging it along?)

Yea, Spread out, form a line of sorts... Keep communicating... if one person speeds up, we all need to speed up...
then just mad dash for the camp...

At the edge of the lake you power up your skiffs... the downdraft from the over engines causes great ripples to spread across the water, fighting each other for dominance...

"We go!" cries out Vasilik. Quickest on the accelerator is, of course, Cass, as you all speed off across the surface of the lake...

Scarlet guns it, keeping pace with Cass as they shoot off across the lake.

"I wonder what's down there..."

Rhys steps on it, matching pace. He warily watches the water, looking for any movement under the surface.
