USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

No, that would be silly if things got worse when the mission finished. Senatorial jurisdiction will remain until the new elections are held.

Moving about the city is damn difficult, due to the throngs. The ships leaving are now approaching the blockade.

Incidentally, word has arrived that the Commissar is visiting again. His shuttle landed forcibly through the chaos of traffic control, which is why the announcement is late. However, presumably he is having equal difficulties moving through the main roads.

Scarlet wishes to head to the starport by herself, to see if she can find Arvus' ship again. Might help us in finding them; hell, maybe they're there.

"Steer clear of the Commissar," Scarlet says to Kyle via comlink. "We don't need his trouble. Galahad can deal with it."

(Woah, not everyone can flock to the bounty hunter and assassin. There are other things to be done, especially now this Commissar thing just popped up. I guess maybe we should figure out what everyone should be doing. I think our time is very very short. Someone needs to deal with the Commy. We also cannot forget about the 'Secret' mission. I believe that the good Senator is the only one that actually knows anything about it. Now might be the time to let the others in on the thing so somone can get it done.
The Imperials are ready to end the game now I think. The Commissar is making a beeline for something important, and even if it's not the secret, it can't be good. The city must be readied for battle. That's why Rhys and I are searching for Rylis and Avrel. Not to just play, we think they're going to play a major role in the upcomming battle, and someone needs to deal with them. Let the Osokans fight the stormtroopers, we the players need to directly counter what the Imperial players are doing. Let's get a plan and not just jump off in random directions. we established long ago the shield generator is a major target, there are people on that now. Then there's the secret, the Commissar, a possible spy in the palace, and the fact that the whole planet is going to go the hell in about two hours.)

I think it's best that we split up and find them; Galahad is going to be handling the politics and the planning with Drakkon, it seems, so why should I stick around for that?

Besides, if Arvus and Rylis aren't at Arvus's ship, we can always make it so that they can't leave using said ship...

(I never said stick around Drakkon. I'm not in charge, just giving my 2 cents. We have limited personnel and lots of fires to put out. Half the team can't go after two Imperials. What I was trying to suggest was that The reast of the team be made aware, in game, of the secret mission, so that a few others can go after that. If Galahad has to deal with the Commissar, and Rhys Eerin and I are trying to save the shield generator, there aren't too many left to take care of the rest. If someone else has better ideas, or some point I haven't thought of yet, great. Just trying to be proactive rather than reactive here when that could really count.)

That's up to Galahad, I think. Scarlet doesn't know about it, but as a player, if Galahad doesn't convince Drakkon to fork that stuff over, Scarlet is the sneakiest person...

Ush, is there a central control point that operates the shield generator?

No, it is operated from the generator itself. As with everything else right now, it will take a while to get there.

Then this is how I see it:

Kyle, Eerin, and Rhys: Heading to the shield generator to make sure it's still safe/figure out and set up a defense. Expecting there's a chance of Rylis and/or Arvus there.

Scarlet: Heading to the port to try and find Arvus' ship there, hoping Arvus and Rylis are there or that they can be tracked down from there. Possible secondary goal of "fixing" the ship so Arvus can't leave in it.

(Both their ships were in port, right?)

Galahad: Probably ought to go meet the Commissar. If he's in the City, something is up. Also, either get on the "secret" mission himself as soon as possible, or tell one of the others about it so they can.

"The Commissar is here again? Grand..." Galahad says, upon receiving word of his arrival. "Duchess, I have much to discuss with Drakkon on the matter of defending the City. Take Zalandos; I will not require his services while I'm here..."

Galahad nods to Zalandos firmly, making sure he does not question the order, and returns to his conversation with Drakkon.

"Guildmaster, where will you be during the upcoming battle? Will you be leading your troops or will you be here, in your mighty Hall?"

It's nearly impossible to get anything useful done in the port right now. Ships are going to be colliding there soon, at this rate.

"I shall be here for much of the time," says Drakkon. "Certainly I will stay unless they breach the walls."

Sasha nods in response to Galahad's comment, and will move to intercept the Commissar as soon as he arrives.

I think that the Commissar should be tailed..
Its not that hard with this many people running around.
I'll do it if everyone else has stuff to do.

(I think we're missing a boat here, but good luck to us all. Kyle is ready, let's get there as fast as we can. Maybe we could take some alleys or something to both avoid being seen and skirt the crowds.)

(Unless it would actually save time, I'd advise against it. It's not like Kyle's and Eerin's faces were shown to everyone while they were told "These people are dead." And really, the best way to not be noticed is to be in the middle of a crowd.)

The Commissar is probably headed to the Guild Hall, but if not, then Cass, be my guest and tail him.

(Yeah, I agree we're probably just faces in the crowd, but I was thinking it might actually save us time. Whichever way gets us there fastest works for me.)

Ok, a number of your problems just solved themselves. The Commissar has turned up at the base of the Guild Hall; Arvus and Rylis are with him.

(Crap. That's not good, I'm sure. I guess we just got back to politics. Should our litte group go or stay? Eerin and I should definitely not be seen with Galahad. One good thing I just realised, is 'oficially', the IMperials probably don't know if we survived the crash or not. I don't know if that does anything for us or not.)

The Commissar is going to meet eith the Duchess, but other elements of his party are pushing onwards.

I would say keep out of sight, Kyle and Eerin...

Scarlet, still might be nifty to break into Arvus' starship. Maybe Imperial plans or something useful is in there...

The Duchess is more worried about the Commissar, though the fact that he is flanked by two violent, scum-ridden individuals is worrying as well. The political situation is more important than her health, though.

"Commissar Esgabath..." Sasha greets, though without any of the warmth that the Duchess normally speaks with. "Welcome back."
