USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

"Understand from who?" he asks, simply.

Eerin's not quite the perceptive type, but he will be moving in with Kyle and Rhys...

Are they sleuthing around the Guild Hall? Isn't there some crime against that? Drakkon could have them thrown out, couldn't he?

I don't suppose starport records would have the location of Arvus' new docking bay?

"The Commissar implied it," she says. "He told me we was to be meeting with one of the Senators heading the mission here; Ardonel and Andran were available while the Commissar was in a private meeting, but I couldn't find you. I wanted to warn you, but it seems I'm a tad slow!"

Starport records have lost track of everything. Control at the starport has broken down.

Well, you haven't spotted anyhting odd, Eerin, so that's a non-starter. What are you going to arrest them for? Because you can't always see them?

Well, Arvus smells funny...

I don't think it will matter once we know the invasion is coming. The Osokans are likely to riot against Rylis and Arvus if we say that they're agents for the Empire.

Not yet, of course. Just need to keep them in sight.

Damn. I guess the only way to find Arvus' ship is to hunt through the entire starport (which I refuse to do in this mess) or follow them to it. But by then, they'll probably be leaving.

We'll just have to catch them out, won't we?

"The Commissar came to give the Imperial position on the newly signed agreement," says Sartorus. "What exactly are you worried about? It's all over."

"I am concerned for the future of Lanzar," Sasha says. "You've done a brilliant job with the Treaty, Senator, absolutely brilliant! But I have reason to believe that the Commissar has orders to demolish Lanzar City. The Commissar wants to find a political reason to make it feasibly, otherwise the Senate won't agree with that, not at all.

"Once again, that was implied by the Commissar. Comments about watching it burn, and so on."

"And what do you intend to do?" asks Sartorus.

"I don't want him to get that information," she replies. "So, even if you had no intention of giving him any, please...avoid the Commissar. It's in the best interest of your career, I've seen it happen."

Sartorus laughs.

"You don't avoid an Imperial Commissar, your Highness," he says. "He is not a tradesman, that you can close the door on him. he comes with authority from the Emperor himself. None of us have any grounds to avoid him."

(Hey, at least I'm not insulting him, right?)

"If I could distract him long enough for you to hurry on your way off of Lanzar, would you take the opportunity?"

"You do as you wish!" says Sartorus, packing up things. "I think you will find that he will not let you stand in his way. What a Commissar wants, he gets. Remember that."

Maybe it's time that someone breaks that verity... Sasha thinks to herself.

"Of course, Senator. But keep in mind that, should any Senator divulge any information to the Commissar that could help his goals, then millions will be killed. I would rather like to see the efforts of the mission remain steadfast and secure, not torn down within a day of their creation."

"What you might like to see or not see is rather irrelevant to what I have just contributed to actually stopping such conflict, your Highness," he comments.

"The Commissar could easily undo all your efforts," Sasha says. "You know how the Commisariat works. They will grant someone anything or kill anyone they have to to get their way."

(You're not going to find the ship, or catch them leaving in it. Please go check the shield generator, we've been worried all along about it's safety, you're in the best position now to secure it.)

Eh, alright. Scarlet will go check out the defenses of the shield generator, though I don't have any bad feelings about it. It took the cannons of the AT-ATs on Hoth to blow one up, I doubt Arvus and Rylis carry that much explosive force on them...

And anything they try to sabotage, I can fix.

"So what exactly is it you are hoping to achieve then? He hardly needs our permission. Think about that, too. Now, if you will excuse me, your Highness, we are leaving."
