There has been a small explosion in the area underneath the Guild Hall. No-one's hurt but people have noticed, explosions being noticeable.

(God dammit! THAT's why I wanted to keep an eye on those two. They're after the Record!)

"What in the world??!" Kyle yells, then realization dawns on him. "Rylis! C'mon you two, I don't care who sees us now. Let's go get that hag and her pet assassin."

(Kyle will go find them, whether anyone comes along or not. He will run in the direction he last saw them go. Most likely toward the explosion.)

They are about thirty metres in front of you in the Guild Hall, kyle, which takes the wind out of your sails.

(oh. I didn't realize we left. Can we get to the hall? Although there's little hope of running into them they'll probably be long gone by the time we get there. We should keep an eye out anyway.)

Err... you're still in the Guild Hall?

(Sorry, sometimes I lose track. I though we were all talking to Drakkon in the guild hall earlier. I never intended that I left, though we were skulking around waiting for the chance to jump Rylis. My bad.)

Okay, so it probably wasn't them... might have been Arvus' droid... or something else.

Kyle, if you think you can do without Rhys' Observation, I'll check out the explosion. I know you want to play with Rylis... 😛

(Well, now we have to actually find them. What's it like in the hall at this moment? Crowds? Panic? or Empty calm?)

"Good day, Senator," Sasha says. She is a bit frustrated that she has seemed to receive no cooperation from him.

(As characters, we don't know about Arvus' droid. I keep seeing people going 'Hah! Arvus' droid!' or something that we wouldn't know as characters but is flipping obvious as players... 😛 )

Sasha will take her leave of the Senator and make her way to the site of the explosion, to determine what caused it.

Are we still nearby all important people in the Guild Hall? It would be bad if we decided to attack our bounty hunter and assassin if there are Senators right there ready to leave...

Where's Vasilik gone, by the way? I recall that the Osokans of his Lodge had been tracking Arvus and Rylis for us. Perhaps they could again?

Most of the Senatorial staff are leaving now, so soon there won't be much more than you guys, no.

They were tracking them when they came onto their territory. Different ball game. Still, Vasilik is around.

"I know how much you wanna tag Miss Rylis over there, but for the love of whatever deities might exist, don't do anything stupid, eh? Oh, and uh..." He winks as a grin spreads onto his face. "May the Force be with you two."

With that, he heads down to the area beneath the Hall.

Well, that's the general central district of the city.

Appears to be quite a small explosion, in a side street. Crowd around there.

Galahad, one of your aides approaches; there's a message for you.

It's on your personal channel, security coded.

Sasha pushes her way through the crowd to get a better look at the site.

Would the Duchess be able to suss what caused the explosion? Captain Ranad is with her, as well.

Ranad tells you to stay back whilst he takea a look.

Galahad thanks the aide, then moves to somewhere a little more private in the Guild Hall, like a side room, and begins decoding the message...
