USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

Well, you need to think about who is going to do what. And remember that Galahad has the Senate to deal with also.

Rhys grins at Kyle, his kindred spirit lightening up considerably after Frank's remark about the ugliness of humans. "Well, the first thing we need to do is find out how to get to Matadan. If we can sweet-talk Matadan into giving us information about his old contacts with the Empire, then we may be able to find out exactly what the Empire will be doing above our heads when they arrive. If we can figure out where they're most likely to land, for example, then we can set up the traps that everyone seems to want so much."

Any chance that Galahad can convince the Osokans to take us to Matadan before he has to go about his senatorial duties?

The best thing to do now is to talk to the local official and find out some info. The Free Traders should do that, and I'll come along to help.

Frank places a large hand on Rhys's shoulder, and says, "<We're in public, not here...>" Then, he nods at Kyle, and turns back ahead, this time looking at the various buildings. There should be somewhere they can get a private place to discuss this in- letting the whole planet know their plans is a surefire tactic to make sure said plans don't go through, after all.

Kai looks over and says, "We can meet up on someone's ship if you prefer".

What sort of local info are you after? It must be said, any local officials don't look very amiable or informative.

Could we get a audience with the Guildmaster?

Oooh, that's getting to the heart of things.

You were told he might be expecting you, actually, but you're not entirely sure how to proceed from here.

Is Galahad busy?

Depends what he wants to do, but the only thing that ONLY Galahad can do is make introductions to the Senate.

Damn.....

Would we still have time after Galahad did that to go see the Guildmaster?

Define 'time'. Will I stop you? No, But from this point onwards, everything you do is timed relative to what the Imperials are doing, so time taken counts.

But as I asked before, can Galahad set us up for seeing the Guildmaster BEFORE he goes off to the Senate?

We need the Senate on our side more than the Ososkans. The Senate is of a higher priority than the Guildmaster.

See, all this 'can he...?' stuff isn't very relevant in an opposed game like this. Try it and find out.

I'm changing my mind. We should talk to the Guildmaster first, than the Senators. We need to get working with the defenses of the city.

(Yes, time. I vote we ask Galahad to try to get us (Traders and Co.) in touch with Matadan. Then he and his group can go about the politicing, while us scoundrels and barbarians can get to messing things up for Melkor's crew.)

I agree heartily with Jazz. Go to it, Galahad!

That's quite an extended process, so where do you guys want to start?

(Which do you mean? Finding Matadan or wreaking havok?)
