USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

Started by Ushgarak280 pages

Contacting Matadan. You can't go straight from here to there, so there must be something you want to start with.

Maybe we should work up the chain. Starting in the middle and move up, maybe just two steps.

But to do that we will have to make contact with an Osokan. So who has the best people skills?

Whilst I remember- the Record that Galahad is after is the Record of Kileen.

The name of the Record can be my Christmas present, eh? Named after an old Guildmaster, I presume?

Galahad will approach an Osokan who seems to be of some sort of authority.

There is no-one around that you see that fits that description.

Your probably going to have to go seek someone out Gallager.
OK Ush, could you please tell me our situation, Like what's around us, you said we'd need permission to go into the jungle or see the shield generator, But what CAN we do?

You're in Lanzar City, which is a pretty big place by any objective standard, but not Coruscant or Nar Shadda sized. What is around you is the city- you are not in any specific location.

But remember this is the homeworld of a rathjer fierce race that is feeling under threat. They aren't going to take kindly to strangers turning up and poking around their military equipment- imagine trying to do that in the US, and then imagine what an Osokan would be like about it.

By the same token, going out into their jungles isn;t going to thrill them though most likely their only comment there would be that they aren't going to pay for your funeral. Any of you with Savoir-Faire knows that the jungles of Lanzar are not to be taken lightly, or heavily, or in any way at all because anyone who goes in there dies.

Anyone who doesn't have the handy ability to regrow themselves, anyway.

So what CAN you do? Well...

There is the Senate to make contact with, likewise the Osokans, as personified by Drakken. There is simply the city to hang around in in various parts; getting the vibe of what is going on. You can start spying on things if you want.

Think it over! Tons to do, but I highly recommend that Galahad gets into action immediately in some respect, because you guys will feel a lot better once you feel you have an established presence here.

Ok, so the Jungle is bad, and not to be gone into.
So why the hell would the Imps make a landing there?
And how would they survive if
"Its mostly ground troops"
I say we go and get the general vibe/start spying.
Spread out a bit. Go check out the bars and such.

Because a large army supported by enormous war machines is a bit different.

Ah,
SO they probably won't be the most subtle of forces either.

yea the bar thing looks like a decent plan

(Cool. Bar it is, for me anyway.)

After a few uncomfortable moments of silence as the small group realises they don't know what to do first, Kyle speaks up.
"Well, how about a drink? Let's wash the space dust out of our throats and see what the locals are like. Anyone else coming?"

(Kyle and anyone who wants to go will search for the nearest bar/cantina. Thanks, tpt.)

"Yea I could use a drink"

"I'm allways in, Lets roll."

"I'm in. At least were doing something on this forsaken planet".

Ok, you guys find a bar before too long, made out of wood, constructed from the jungle.

There is an Osokan bartender- not something you had previous imagined- but over 3/4s of the clientele is not Osokan, it seems. Various trader and smuggler types by the look of it, making Lanzar City far more multi-cultural than you had imagined.

Hmm, I say we spread out, and act like we don't know each other, with each smuggler group taking a seat somewhere different and try to get the overall vibe of the place.
I guess Me and Fire will stick together, and find a coupla seats.

sure sounds super

Taking the cue from the two Aces, Kyle turns to Eerin, and indicates an empty spot at the bar big enough for the two of them. "Come on, I'll buy."

Kai nods, and goes to the front of the bar to look for anyone who might be of help to the mission.
