Strategic results for turn 1 are now coming in. The Imperials can choose the best result of their two attacks on the secotrs behind the walls, though they cannot get the effect of both.
-----
Result of Battle at the West Arm: FIREFIGHT
The fight is inconclusive. Both sides check for unit damage.
The damaged Imperial Artillery unit at West Arm (South) takes a second hit and is destroyed.
An Osokan Warrior Unit at the West Arm takes a hit, as does a Militia unit.
The West Side Wall has been breached
-----
Result of the battle at the South Arm: DEFENDER RETREATS
General Coll's presence increases the Imperial effectiveness and the engagement ends in Imperial victory as they take the walls.
Defending units check for hits; one unit of Osokan Warriors takes a hit. Defending units then have to withdraw
THE RETREAT REQUIREMENT IS CANCELLED
Imperial units drive into the city and achieve tactical usccess that breaks the defeding forces.
However, shortly afterwards reports arrive that the forces have unexpectedly rallied and held ground. Rumours tell of a particularly large Osokan leading attacks against invading Imperial forces and ordering the execution of fleeing defenders. Unable to press home the shock of their attack, the Imperials are forced to withdraw from the walls shortly afterwards.
The defenders do not retreat and the Imperial forces stay where they are. The walls were not breached.

Turn 2 starts very shortly. This is a Strategy only turn; Tactical players are resting.
BATTLE OF LANZAR- TURN 2
- The Imperials prepare a new attack to the north, though it will not come until turn 3. This gathering attack on the North arm consists of a small number of Stormtroopers backed by what seems to be the entirity of the remaining AT-STs and several squadrons of speeder bikes.
- The Imperials continue their attacks on the other arms. The dead artillery is replaced by more troopers but they will not arrive in time to join the assault this turn
- The Imperials order in air strikes as TIE Bombers, escorted by TIE Fighters, arrive. But deploying in limited numbers, their intervention is interdicted by defending Rebel craft. The air attack hs no efffect this turn.
- Rebel dispositions remain the same but damaged units have been rotated out and replaced.
Current Dispositions:
North Arm- 3 Warrior Units, 1 Militia Unit
South Arm- 3 Warrior Units, 1 Hunter Unit
West Arm- 2 Warrior Units, 2 Militia Unit
Outside South Arm (West)- 1 AT-AT Unit, 2 Stormtrooper Units, 1 AT-ST Unit, General Coll, Rylis, Arvus, Lyle
Outside South Arm (East)- 1 AT-AT Unit, 2 Stormtrooper Units, 1 AT-ST Unit
Outside West Arm (North)- 1 AT-AT Unit, 2 Stormtrooper Units, 1 AT-ST Unit, Commander Janthis, Commander Jaiden
Outside West Arm (South)- 1 Artillery Unit, 2 Stormtrooper Unit, 1 AT-ST Unit
Outside North Arm (West)- 2 AT-ST Units, 1 Speederbike Unit, 1 Stormtrooper Unit
Outside North Arm (East)- 2 AT-ST Units, 1 Speederbike Unit, 1 Stormtrooper Unit
Engagements this turn:
We have exactly the same in the South as last turn- 3:2 in favour of the Imperials.
To the West, the wall breach allows the Imperials to combine forces. A strength of 42 gives them 3:1 odds. Doesn't look good for the Defenders.
Results coming tonight!
Nope; clearly stated that this was a strategy only turn.
Results are in:
Result at the Battle for the West Arm: DEFENDERS ROUTED
Imperials achieve complete success. All defending units take a hit and must retreat- Rebels, please tell me where they retrat to; you can bump any units that did not move this turn to make room for them but make sure there is somewhere for them to go.
Imperials, up to four assaulting units can move into the West Arm.
-----
Result at the Battle for the South Arm: FIREFIGHT
The Imperials cannot seem to break through and despite orbital bombardment the walls are not damaged enough yet to cause a breach.
Fighting is heavy. two of the Warrior units take hits in the fighting and a third takes a hit from the bombardment.
Both Stormtrooper units at (East), one at (West) and the AT-ST unit at (West) take a hit also.
