USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

Started by Bespin Bart280 pages

Eerin sends his next rocket spiralling down into the Imperials, targeting as many of the Imperial players as he can. If he has leave one of them out, it will be Coll.

They aren't bunched; you can only choose one.

Damn...

I've actually decided to forego this turn in order to get back on top of my frames, since it's likely I'll have more than just Arvus firing at me with the way I take out stormtroopers so quickly...

Dodge two enemy player attacks.

"Yes," Sasha replies to Scarlet. She emerges from the first hole and begins sprinting to the second, firing shots at stormtroopers with snapped attacks as she moves.

My targets are stormies covering the first hole.

Scarlet does the same, picking two targets each time she fires, snapping her attacks on stormtroopers covering the second hole.

Shooting takes frames. You run and shoot you are exposed for much longer before you make up the six frame distance.

Shots on Rylis as well.
Dodge incoming player attacks.

The first shot has been fired at Drakkon! Jaiden fires his concussion rifle at the Top Pig. But the shot goes wide, blasting a chunk out of the structure instead.

The triple-fire from the Rebels on Rylis continues- though this turn it does not go that well. Enough to rule Rylis out of action though.

Note- please check frames, people. Arvus has based his action on Lyle's, who does not arrive until frame 20. He fires at Cass, landing a hit.

But as this duelling continues, Imperial players are starting to worry more about the battle. Janthis is leading men up the steep steps, whilst Coll is organising them from the base.

Drakkon orders another charge- the next wave of Osokans is incoming.

-

At the Hall of Records it is not going well- with your shots factored in it takes tewn frames to get betwene the holes, during which time the troopers are reinforced and they get three attacks on you, which amounted to 51 attacks. You're taking hits, obviously.

"My Lady, you cannot just run across and pretend those soldiers are not there! You stay here and cover me. I will enter the building for whatever it is that is needed."

He makes a meaningful glare at Scarlet when he says this- he does not like risking Sasha's life for no apparent reason.

(Well, so far it's working so I'm not changing tactics just yet. So more double shot on Rylis. Is there a way we can protect Drakkon from hits? He's the objective for the Imps, nothing else, I think. We need to watch out for him if we can.)

"Fine," Scarlet says. "It is the Record of Kileen, a document recording all the Hunts of the Guilds since their forming. It is likely the oldest document in the Records."

Scarlet will remain in cover, snapping off shots at stormtroopers, aiming to take down two at a time covering the second hole.

This time, Eerin fires his rocket at Janthis, aiming blast him off the steps and take some of his men with him.

Sasha does not comment on the Record, but pats Ranad on the shoulder.

"Alright, Captain, you know best!"

Firing at stormtroopers covering the third hole, snapped shots.

The fight goes on. Drakkon's early tactics nearly halted the first Imperial attack, but the Rebels have not been able to stop Imperial organisation. Janthis and Coll have stabilised the Imperial situation and are bringing up more men.

Massed fire at Rylis continues. she makes a well-placed dodge on one of the two shots that would have found its target. Rylis herself, acting for the first time in a while, fires at Kyle, but to no effect.

Eerin takes a rocket launcher shot at Janthis and the men near him, but completely misses. Heavy weapon exchange is going to becomer common, it seems- Arvus changes to his railgun.

Lyle arrives in the fight and opens fire at Kyle, missing by a whisker.

Finally, Jaiden fires at Drakkon again. This time he scores a pretty good hit, landing just a foot away from the pig himself, who is blown off of his feet.

Shortly afterwards there is a loud ching! noise near the base of the pyramid, as may be made by, say, a knife penetrating stormtrooper armor. Jaiden, there is a knife sticking out of your shoulder.

-

At the Hall... Ranad dashes to the next hole as you cover him; many of the troopers fire at you guys, in cover, rather than him. He makes it in and waves for someone to move on.

If Eerin can rocket five stormtroopers near Janthis without killing any Osokans, he will.

Otherwise, Eerin will launch a rocket at Coll, in an effort to disable his efforts to organize troopers this turn.

(We need to get Arvus now he's got that railgun out. That thing is big trouble. That said, I'll keep firing at Rylis. Don't want to let her gat a good shot in either. Dodge characters.)

In hindsight, may have not been spectacularly smart to focus nearly all our fire on a single target.

Firing at Arvus, he's probably not expecting it. Dodge named attacks.

Cancel Eerin's action of shooting on stormtroopers. They're so outnumbered at the base that I don't think the Osokans need my help...

Eerin fires his rocket at Coll to interrupt his organizational efforts.

What is Zalandos' advice on approaching Galahad's situation? Entering stormtrooper territory is obviously dangerous, but required for me to get to the Starport.

We could always approach holding our guns by the barrel, so that it would be impossible to fire at the stormtroopers, and then asked to be taken to the starport, where Commissar Esgabath will be awaiting my arrival.

Scarlet will fire snapped BGB shots at the troops covering second hole.
