USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

Started by Brit280 pages

Sasha quickly follows, blasting at stormtroopers covering the first hole.

(Not sure about the ranges here, but if Kyle can reach Rylis, he'll take a doubleshot at her. Otherwise, he'll continue snapping at troopers.)

Pretty sure we can hit people at the base.

Rhys turns his attention and fire to Rylis, determined to keep her far away from the group.

(Figured, but you never know. Also, add an order to Dodge and incomming character attacks.)

Dodge for Rhys as well if named characters target him.

What type of buildings can be found in the East? Any important structures?

I will fire regular shot at Rylis as well
Dodge any named character shots.

Ok, now things are getting serious!

Coll is starting to blast away at Osokans. Will take a while with that toy gun of his though.

Jaiden is getting into position to use his concussion rifle on the Osokans. You're ready to fire now, make sure you specify which group.

Now things get a bit personal. Arvus and Rylis are both firing at Eerin, who is dodging such attacks, which rules him out of firing this turn.

13 and 10 rolled; Rylis misses, Arvus hits. Hefty weapon, that bowcaster, though slow for Arvus.

In turn, Rhys, Kyle and Cassius all fire at Rylis, who triple dodges (which of course effectively rules her out of action as a standard action is three frames). Kyle and Cass score hits.

At another command from Drakkon, the attacking osokans suddenly part, and from inside the edge of the Pit itself an enormous tree trunk is proelled outwards, with many sharp spikes set into it. Used as further torture for those forced to climb the Justice Pit, here it handily scythes down the steps and into the stormtroopers, sending a dozen of them flying away, crunching down below; it then plunges into the mass, severing and crushing limbs before coming to a halt.

-

At the Records, you guys are all dashing across at once! Troopers fire, cause a couple of glancing hits; three frames to go... may as well do those at once! You make it into the second hole as more troopers arrive.

Th bombardment continues; great plumes of earth and deafening noises erupt all around you, showering you with dirt and debris.

-

Galahad- nothing and nada. No good here at all.

And now you habe another problem- getting through the Imperial lines to the Starport. They won't dare target you but there are thousands of target-hungry troopers out there told to beware of Rebels. If some troopers get executed and Senate Sympathy shifts to the Alliance as a result of yuor accidental death then that's great but you feel you have more to offer than that, alive.

"Wow," Kyle says to his companions. "I hope he has some more surprises like that." He fires more at Rylis. "Come up here, Bounty Hunter! Let's play!"

(That'd be another double shot at Rylis.)

Keep it up!
Another shot at Rylis
And dodge any incoming.

More shots at Rylis.

"You realize her getting up here will be dangerous for us, right? We work better from the high ground..."

"[Let us hope that we can keep her down there...]" Eerin says, targeting his rocket launcher again.

His rocket shot is aimed to keep stormtroopers from reinforcing the troops that are being cut down by our forces one quarter up.

Dodge Arvus. I'm going to assume that Rylis will focus on finding cover or shooting at one of the three that just fired at her...

Scarlet tumbles into the first hole, amidst a storm of fire and top soil.

"Bastards..." she scathes as a shot bursts near her head, against the edge of the pit. She then puts her pistols over the edge and fires on the stormtroopers covering their position.

Make that a snapped Both Guns Blazing attack on two troopers at the first hole.

Sasha pants, pushed a slight panic by the dozens of rounds being sent in their direction and the earth-shattering explosions all around.

"I should have bought grenades," Sasha comments to Ranad and Scarlet as she opens fire.

Actually, I had a stroke of (possible) genius.

If Eerin could shoot the log at the base of the Justice Pit, could his rocket it a) ignite it, b) cause the spikes to be sent out in various directions like shrapnel, and/or c) still blow away stormtroopers?

Galahad isn't quite depressed enough to die, methinks.

Though, trying to sneak through the stormtrooper lines might be met badly if I'm caught...

I doubt I have Melkor's comlink; he does not have mine. Would it be possible to route a call to him through the Star Destroyer? Just speculating, not actually doing so just yet...

Coll attempts to organise the troopers around the base to not be in the firing line of the next log that comes down. This is a complete waste of time as the next one goes out in a different direction, to roughly the same effect.

Eerin is quite flash as he rockets the last log sending out debris everywhere, which does not kill any more troopers than a siomple shot but looks good. Only trouble is, blowing away troops at the base makes little difference to the main fight; not as if the troopers are short on reserves. And they can mount the structure from too many directions for his shooting to prevent reinforcement.

Eerin is still under fire from Arvus; he dodges out the way but his frames aren't looking healthy.

Not that the hassle is only one way; Rylis is still under triple fire which she is only partially dodging.

Jaiden has opened up with his concussion rifle at the Osokans some way up; I'll hold Janthis' frames this time but not again.

-

"We won't make it like this!" yells Ranad over the shell fire.

-

Galahad- nope, and you cannot contact the fleet without a larger transmitter, which was in the Guild Hall.
