Firing on Janthis. Kyle, shoot better, would ya? 😛

Kyle growls in frustration at not being able to down his target, but keeps firing. He calls out to the two teammates still with him. "We've got yo slow down their heavy weapon fire, it's tearing the Osokans up!"

(Ugh, once more a double shot for Janthis. I hope it hits, I need to get back to Rylis. She and the others out of melee are the ones causing real trouble now. Other thatn shooting at them, does anyone know what we might do to spoil their shots?)

I'm still waiting for some notion of how we can use the Raptors. This is the Justice Pit after all. Other than that, I don't know what we can do besides shoot.

(It crosses my mind to look for a way to release them, but I'd feel bad if they started eating Osokans. Or us.)

Fire on Janthis.

(Nah Man, I got Janthis. Someone else needs attention, we don't want to waste shots here.

Aaaannd... I forgot to type Dodge Player Atacks, so here it is.)

If you guys will spread your fire elsewhere, such as Jaiden, maybe, Eerin can cut down Janthis up close and personal while you guys cover Eerin from Jaiden's heavy weapon.

Eerin will advance towards Janthis, Tripping him with the halberd.

Dodge a character attack.

(Ok, I'll switch to Rylis. Doubleshot on Rylis, dodge player attacks.)

Ush, if I'm closing with Janthis, Jaiden won't be able to hit me with a Heavy Weapon unless he wants to blow up his friend too, right?

Firing on Jaiden, then. Eerin, I'm gonna have words for you if Janthis isn't down this turn. 😛

Oh, the likeness of him surviving long is very, very slim. His Combat score is 10 against my 14, not to mention all my Combat Tricks...

(Yeah, I think of any players, either side, you're best at combat. IIRC, Rylis is the only one who comes close to you. That's why I was scared to death that she would close with me in the fights before this and wipe me up. Very surprised she didn't, with all the tricks she has versus my no tricks for combat, I don't think I'd have a chance. Whew!)

(The fact that you were standing between two Combat experts [Drakkon and myself] might have been a deterrent, as well as the fact that we're surrounded by Osokan Hunters.)

Well If Rylis tried to attack us up close, the Osokans would have swarmed her and she would have been very dead very quickly.
Sooo yea.
But looking good guys.

Good to keep in mind that Cass, Kyle, and Rhys are no longer surrounded by Osokans, though.

Just as a note to people, heavy weapons fire has not dropped very many Osokans- it's the hundreds of Stormtroopers firing that did much of the work.

Eerin goes for a Trip attack on Janthis. As a reminder, Janthis defends using a penalised Guns score, not his Combat score, but even so Eerin hits. Odd choice though- Eerin basically only had to hit Janthis to take him out. This way Janthis loses frames but he doesn't actually take any damage.

However, that's irrelevant because- in a move I feel unlikely to be forgotten- Jaiden has asked to ire at Eerin. His heavy weapons blast hurts Eerin, but kills the defenceless Janthis who had specifically posted that he was getting in the way of the Osokan charge, unless he has any Fortune to spend in which case he is just out of the fight. Imperial co-ordination here is an obvious issue; Heavy Weapons shots were obviously going to hurt Janthis if you fired at Eerin, Drakkon or the Hunters and there were two more posted to come after that one!

Kyle switches his fire back to Rylis, landing a hit. Rylis is lacking frames again to act herself, mostly as a result of heavy weapons fire. Bit of a lesson for others here- Rylis' use of heavy weaponry has basically been a waste of time; she's just wasted frames to no more effect than she would have had anyway, possibly less. Considering the amount of fire Imperial players are under, those frames are needed. The Rebels, in contrast, are feeling very little pressure at all.

Rhys fires at Jaiden- dodged.

Lyle blasts into the dazed Eerin for more effect; does it twice in fact. Arvus' heavy weapon shot at Hunters misses which is just as well as he would have blown away the troopers Janthis brought as well.

I assume Coll is getting more troopers in still.

Meanwhile, the ill-considered heavy weapons fire from Imperial players has nullified the defensive advantage Janthis sought to gain. The charge hits the wavering Imperial lines like a blast from the Death Star. They go straight throuugh the early defenders; the Osokans as a whole fan out and engage what they can, whilst Drakkon and his Hunters are ploughing straight towards Coll; some of his defenders are dead already.

Geez, that hit me pretty hard, considering I dodged...

Eerin will now head for Arvus. Dodge any heavy weapons attacks on Eerin.

You were shot by Lyle as well, Eerin, twice.

"Well, one commander down, even if it wasn't exactly by our hands..." Rhys says to Kyle and Cass.

Rhys takes a shot at Arvus.

Cool, I have 6 frames of action.
2 shots on Rylis, because she is the only one who can really make a difference and maybe take out Eerin.
