USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

Roger that...

The well known trader Marlu (😛) turns to Sasha.
"Just said I did didn't I? and as for time of travel that was my quickest yet. Of course. I had a few other stops to make on the way I managed to pick up some of that exotic substance in the Hurvary system you know the stuff that..." He falters. Not entirely sure of speaking about such things infront of Drakkon (nor Galahad for that matter).

"So, like I said, shall I start chucking out out here or are there landing platforms somewhere in this city?" he asked. Hopeing they wern't to high up, 50 meters being the limit of his repulsor field generators <<Is that a realistic height?>>

I think we can just put that down to Amidala. Maybe someone pumped her full of hormones (her voice was certainly weird enough in Queen mode).

What does everyone think of Scarlet's opinion?

Really, you'd have to do this whole thing at the starport, by which point Drakkon is long gone, returned to his Guild Hall.

How come? (Sorry if thats a silly question)

I think that was intended by the others. Drakkon seemed to be done talking, after all.

While Drakkon's rule may work well for Lanzar, he is not exactly the shining leader of a Rebel sect. Most of the figureheads we see in the Rebellion- Dodonna, Mothma, Madine, Ackbar, etc.- are a lot less...brutal. Then again, they're not Osokans.

Not sure how I feel about Scarlet's opinion, in that case. I suppose I disagree more than I agree. But nothing can really change Drakkon so that he's like Mon Mothma, safe to say.

It's an inhabited world; they don't let you just hover ships around their ancient monuments.

Good call. In that case...

Arriving at the space port Marlu quickly clambours over the top of the ship and open the rear cargo-bay access hatch.
He begins to unload the weapon crates and picks the best looking light blaster for himself before the others get a chance to make a grab for anything.

"So. Do you guys have anything for me to take back with me? What about one of those hunter's whips? they looked very impressive! Erm, can someone thumb-print for this?" he asked tossing a data-pad with a record of the delivery in the general direction of the others, for anyone to catch.

EDIT: off to bed, half past midnight 🙂

"I hope you don't think that you're..." Galahad catches the pad. "...leaving. You're not here to make a run, you know, you're here to help us save this world. Did you bring the catapults?"

Kyle remained silent throughout the entire proceedings. He figured that the talking was best left to the Senator at this point. (That, and his player is back on second shift and missed the whole day's progress. 🙁 ) But with Drakkon gone he felt he had to say something, whether it was useful or not. it was hard for him to stay quiet this long...

"So! Who here thinks it's be a real bad idea to make Drakkon mad at us? Oh, and the part about me thinking it'd be great to set traps in the jungle? I take that back, after seeing those Raptors, someone obviously took care of that centuries ago."

Eerin blinks a few times.

"[Didn't think about that...if we piss off the big guy, we're screwed...]" Eerin says. "[But yeah...I figured the traps wouldn't go well after what the Guildmaster said. I think the raptors can more than take care of the Imperials...]"

That made Kyle think of something else. "That's a good point. Heck, if it takes them 15 seconds to take down one of these Osokans, then shoot, it shouldn't take a second or two to get a stormtrooper. Wonder if there's a way to make the things extra mad at someone, you know, get them to gang up on the little white crunchy snacks? 'Course I bet the Imps know about them, and maybe they'll be lading that much closer to the city because of them. Something to think about, there."

You're not sure they can really land that close. From the air, it was clearly dense jungle in a huge radius around the city.

Yea things worked out good with Drakkon for the moment, not pissing him off is quite essential for the success of our mission, and our own survival.

He's more intelligent than I thought, which is a good thing.
Those raptors look like fun 😛, I think they'd be good against storm troopers on foot, but if they are high up in their ATAT's I don't think the raptors are gonna do much about that

"sure, sure" said Marlu, waveing his hand as if to disreguard what was being said. "Business before pleasure doesn't apply to me however" he continued, turning his head to flash Galahad a grin.

"So, whats the plan?" He ask bluntly, spinning his selected pistol into it's holster.

Where's the nearest clearing?

Not a bad question. You don't have an aerial survey to hand.

"i'll go find out" said Marlookooneeweestee. Leaping back up into the tugger and slamming the hatch closed, completely forgetting that his engines just had a burn out.

"Well, if a whole star destroyer's compliment will be comming down on us, most of the stormtroopers will have to be on foot. I'm sure concentrated blasterfire will bring the dinos down, but either way, that slows the Imp's advance. What I'm thinking is we ask a local, Drakkon or whoever, if there's a way to get the things to swarm the Imperials. That is, if tey won't do that by themselves."

Those of you that have returned to the main Lodge- which will be the Senator and Duchess at least, as you have to show your faces enough to make your cover work- are now aware of a certain amount of disruption. Aides seem to be running around everywhere, with busy looks on their faces.

Senator Andran comes bursting in through some doors. "Will someone tell me what the hell is going on?"

An aide is whispering in his ear. "Don't give me that. Do I have to do everything around here? Contact the ship, get me a scan."

(Gee, wonder who that is? Alright you rogues, what's our next step? I think our clock just started running. I'm assuming that the Traders didn't go back with the Delegation. We were separate, right? So, let's start getting our gear ready at least, see what happens.)
