"But Max, What the hell can WE do? 3 Star Destroyers? We can't engage them, it would be suicide. We need a diplomatic legitamacy. Galahad, Andran, How soon can you guys get this Senate objective done?"

"Hush, my fair pilots," Duchess Sasha says, looking to them from Galahad. "I am sure the Senators have things under control. Things have not fallen to trading shots yet."

"It will eventually, Duchess."

Scarlet looks to the Brudii pilots and whispers to them as to keep Andran and others from hearing.

"I think we should worry about formulating defenses first, my friends."

"So, anyone care to summerise your plans for me ? I need to be clued in if you want my help with this."

Commented Marlu while he waited for the mechanic to respond.

(Pfft, brackets, i'm sure you intellegent people can realise when i'm talking OOC and not. Besides Ush doesn't use them.

I think we can just put that down to Amidala. Maybe someone pumped her full of hormones (her voice was certainly weird enough in Queen mode).

What does everyone think of Scarlet's opinion?

See, no barckets!
But, if you insist...))

Your ship will be working fine come any important events, no worries.

Knowledge of military vessels is not really your speciality I am afraid, Galahad.

"Senator, records indicate that the Captain of the Victorious is a Captain Nidar."

"Nidar?" says Andran. He thinks for a moment. "Yes, I know the name. How long?"

"The ships will likely exit hyperspace near Lanzar orbit in five minutes."

Andran suddenly snaps his head back to you, Galahad.

"What do you mean, Senator?" he asks.

"With all due respect Duchess, it is not because we come from a world that might appear less civilized that you have to assume we do not know how a conflict emerges or what flow it follows. Things is if you want to stand any chance in succesfully defending this city. Then we need to start preparations early.é

"I knew they were coming, Andran," Galahad says, quite seriously. "I know their intent."

Anything Galahad would know on Nidar?

"And also Duchess, if it hasn't come to trading shots, why are they wheeling their guns into position?"

"Ah, but they have not fired, yet," Sasha reminds him. "We need to be wheeling our 'guns' into position too."

(Wow, pie!)

"Cass isn't that exactly what I said?"

Nidar... you think you have heard the name beofre, Galahad. And I mean the name, not the person; a well-connected family, you think.

"This is no time to be reticent, Senator; if you have something to tell me, then tell me."

Assured that his craft will be working again in no-time Marlookooneeweestee heads out of the space port to explore the town, tossing a com-link at Max and requesting he contact him if theres a task to be done.

Once in the town he begins to mingle, fitting in te best he can in all ways except appearance. Surely someone here has something that is useful he hopes.

"Kinda, but our defences? Maybe hold out for a few hours, but we're gonna get destroyed if we have to fight them. The best were gonna get is stalling..."

"True, but those few hours can be all we need.. Don't tell me your scared old man"

"Max has the right idea..."

"My sources tell me that the Emperor would like Lanzar squashed so that he does not have to worry about it any more, but so long as you are here or your mission succeeds, he cannot."

"I'm aware of the political situation, Senator," says Andran. "But the Emperor needs those ships on the Outer Rim to hunt down the Rebel Alliance. He didn't need to send them here, not for a petty matter like this."

"Imperial ships entering Lanzar system now," says the comms Lieutenant.

Kai walks behind Galahad and whispers to him, "When are we going for the records?"

(You STILL don't know about that yet...)

"The Emperor has his reasons, I'm sure," Galahad says. "But that is what I have been told."

(We better get to it still).
