USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

Started by Ushgarak280 pages

Ok, I am going to move onto the next hour soon. The Osokan unloading operation will be complete in an hour after that; you will have until then to do something about it.

Drakkon cuts your conversation short to meet the Imperial Commissar at this point, and it is upon reflection as this takes place that you think of the points I raised above.

HOUR 5

Incoming weapons finish unloading at Hour 6

-

The Senators have not yet returned.

-

Our piloting duo have come up virtually blank on Imperial info, but after this amount of time at the Cantina get some info from someone who just got it.

The local pilots and scum and co are all worried the Imperials are going to seal them in, so they are concluding business as soon as possible. The new arrival has something to add- he was just at his ship, prepping up for a quick exit if need be, and his sensors showed a small ship leaving the Imperial taskforce and heading for the surface. He doesn't know where it went, but it wasn't the city.

-

Rebels at the starport have been flung out the docking bay where you found your 'friends' before the matter became an affray. You guys are now worried about being caught with hot gear red-handed, and you may wish to inform the others.

Rhys will contact our two Pilots, tell them the basics of our meeting with Rylis and Arvus, and convey his worry about our shipments. He'll then ask what info they have found during their cantina digging.

Then Rhys will suggest to Kyle and Eerin that we should tell Galahad and Sasha about the developments.

In case anyone is unaware of the issue, the Rebels talking at the starport are alarmed that Imperial Agents seem to be showing interest in vessels at the stgarport, seeing as you guys crammed your ships full of weapons before coming here.

"Hey Rhys. Bounty Hunters? Damn, The girl, she was at the Cantina, Bashed some heads, then left. Undoubtably to go meet you. I wanna get that stuff off our Ships ASAP, Give it to Drakkon as gifts, or whatever, but whatever we do, get it the hell away from our stuff. Also I just heard about a small ship breaking away from the Imps and going off into the jungle, I'm gonna try and see what I can do, but keep and ear out.
Don't get in too much trouble.
Cass out."

I want to take this pilot aside, buy him a drink, and try to get some specifics. Type of ship, Where it went, any directions and such. I'll bet its gotta do with something funky that the imps are trying to get by us. And I'm not up for letting that happen. If nessesary, I will tail the sucker.

Actually, Cass, they were talking about hours ago when that Hunter showed up. Before the Imperials did.

The pilot doesn't know anything apart from there being a trace. Small craft, not a warship or anything, but he knows nothing else.

Hmm, I wonder if there's a way to look for it. Sensor sweep or something?

Hmm. Sasha might want to voice these concerns to Drakkon. If I could do it now, that would be great, but if he is busy, Sasha can wait.

Maybe get a plan together first?

-

The guy said it went to ground, Cass, in which case it's wayy too late to sense it.

Ahh damnit...

A shaken and frustrated Kyle nods at Rhys' suggestion and activates his own comlink. In case the Senator could be in with the last people he'd want to hear the conversation, he comms the Duchess. At the last second he decides to take a stab at coded talk in case anyone important was in earshot of her, too.

"Your Highness, this is Kay Arr. I am afraid your donations for the locals are in danger of being found by some out-of-town 'collectors'. I suggest we relocate them A.S.A.P. Kay out."

Figuring that Eerin and Rhys would just be rolling their eyes at him, Kyle simply says, "We better get back, this isn't good."

Rhyst nods to Kyle. "Yeah, things are coming to a point now, and not the point I'd like to be standing on. What the hell do you think that Imp ship is doing out there?"

"Whatever it is, it can't be good. With Rylis and that other guy here obviously working for the Imperials, I'd bet that the ship is another fringe character. All the scum they're hiring for this mission makes me think that the Imps are here for more than the Osokans. They're here for us, too."

Rhys studies his boots, a grim smile flitting onto his face. "I don't envy whoever's piloting that ship, though. We all saw those raptors in Matadan's 'grave.' Scum or not, they'd have to be pretty stupid to land out there... unless..." He stops for a moment, then looks back up to Kyle.

"What could someone be hiding that makes it better to land out in those jungles than here in the port?"

Galahad- that's odd. The Imperials seem to be leaving. They are packing up their gear.

Galahad will send Zalandos with a message for Esgabath, asking why he is packing up his things and leaving.

"Copy that, Kay," Sasha replies on her comlink. "Meet me at your ship to discuss."

"[Well, we should probably get a place to move this stuff to]," Eerin says.

Kyle looks at Rhys as a lightbulb seemed to go off in the man's head. "Galaxy knows, look what we brought and park in the city. I can't imagine... Why? Did you figure something out?"

"Got any ideas Eerin?"

Ok, so now you guys have two main worries- your own gear and Drakkon's gear, both at the starport.

Meanwhile, Zalandos is going to try and scurry after the Imps.
