I'm gonna pick the small one, and try to buzz by the place that has the least Turbolasers..

The underside has the least lasers, but that's only relevant if you actually head towards the ships, not for the gaps.

(In that case, I'll pick a gap pointing directly away from the moon, or the one closest to that point. That way they might be less inclined to look to the moon as a possible point of return.)

Gaps = one third the diameter of a planet = not much thought about crossifre

(Running the gap will givest the best possible lead to their reaction time. Not that it might not be close, but it's the best I can think of.)
