USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Ushgarak372 pages

You ARE beginning, Trebeis. I am just making certain I know what I am rolling for.

One more day, and that gaze finishes on Arvus...

I see...

"I see you have met our 'Debriefer'." The Captain said. "I hope you had a Comfortable Chat." Looking down at the Haggard man, He Smiled. "Now, You will tell us what we want to know. After this, You will be relatively safe. However, if you fail to Comply. I'd see no reason why we shouldn't just allow the Hutts to deal with you." Pausing, Trebeis Drew on his Leather Gloves. "Now, what we want from you is simple. Provide us with Three simple pieces of Information. What was your Cargo, For Whom was it Delivered and who was it that rendezvoused just above Orbit with your Group?"

Intimidation Roll.

"Why would the Hutts mind?" says the man. "It's not the ships they worry about, it's the cargo! And we delivered!"

Changing Directions, The Captain Sat down Opposite the Prisoner. Raising an Eyebrow, Trebeis Began. "Perhaps the Hutts would not mind too Terribly. So I'll be quite Blunt." Leaning in towards the Man. "I'd be more than happy to have you added to the Crews at one of our Shipyards, Working in the Cold Vacuum of Space for the rest of your life. Short as it may be, Terrible Accidents generally Happen to those Crews. I personally recall a Few Workers being fused to a Dreadnought's Hull by a Malfunctioning Fusion-Cutter." Pausing again, to scratch his chin, He Cracked a Cold, Hard, Threatening Smile. "On the Other hand, if you simply Resist altogether, I'll simply have your Heart removed. It would be interesting to see how long a man can Stay Conscious, watching his own Heart beat it's last." Reclining, Atillian Quickly Dropped the Smile. "To be honest, if you simply Cooperate with the Empire, we will release you. So, In other words, without cooperating, You will not be allowed to live. And I would most certainly press for the Implementation of the Unorthodox Heart Surgery." Once again Smiling, The Captain finished. "It is your Choice, Tell us what we want to know, Or die."

Another Intimidation Roll on that One.

Commisar would like to join the prisoner`s interrogation.

About bloody Time. 😇

"Indeed, your can now make choice between life and death. Your fate does not matter to the Empire, contrary to the information you posess." -Esgabath slowly moves closer and closer to the prisoner, finally grabbing his chin, forcing the terrified man to meet his predatory smile:

"I don`t think you owe any loyalty to Hutts or Drakkon. So why not cooperate and save yourself from the more painful methods of interrogation that would break you spirit as well as body?"

"I'm just trading to this world!" says the man, desperately. "What is so wrong with that?!"

"We have no need for your excuses!" The Captain Screamed in the man's face. "We know what you were doing here, so tell us what we have asked you!" In Anger, Trebeis Backhanded the man Across the Face. Hard.

Feh, I don't have anything I could say to divert Vader to Lyle or Rylis or Karn...

Arvus keeps a calm face, despite knowing what Vader does to people who fail him.

"I am sorry, Lord Vader, but it does seem that the fault rests on my shoulders," Arvus says, boldly. "I was not well informed of the situation at hand and did not realize the full potential of my probe droid, but it was indeed I who called him off. I am to blame.

"What is to be my punishment, Lord Vader? If it is death for this one failure, I will beg for your mercy and promise to prove myself worthy of a second chance."

Vader steps forwarda and picks you up, a la the start of A New Hope.

Your stupidity has needlessly delayed the invasion of Lanzar. I will not tolerate such idiocy.

By the end of the day, the blockade of Lanzar will have become permanent. You will have found me those weapons or another reason for the blockade, or you will die.

Vader turns around and leaves.

And then it will be the turn of another of you

The lead Stormtrooper, Commander Travis, removes his helmet.

"You can go now," he says, roughly.

-

A 17, Trebeis. Pretty good. And if Melkor turns the screws on, hos bonus will hit pretty hard.

"Ok, ok!!! I was selling weapons! It happens all the time, throughout the Galaxy!"

"Yes, but you chose a wrong time and place to sell weapons. But don`t worry, just tell us all details and everything will be alright, no pain or death for you." -Melkor`s tone seems comforting when compared to Captain`s anger, but there is a deeply sinister undertone to it.

"Who exactly sold those weapons and whom were they delivered for?"

I am using a mix of Intimidate and Persuade, by the way.

The Captain merely Stands next to the Commisar, Glowering with Disgust at the Captive. The Creaking of his Leather gloves frightening in Volume, as he Clenches and unclenches his Fists.

Well, he doesn't know many details, he was just doing a job. He understands that Drakkon wants to build a centralised armed force on Lanzar, to bring it in line with many other worlds, and he needed someone who could deliver in bulk!

"I was just delivering the first of two shipments! It was nothing illegal!"

"So you were making a Delivery paid for, and destined specifically for Drakkon." Pausing, the Captain leaned in towards the man. "First of Two Shipments?" Looking sidelong at Melkor, he continued. "Tell us Everything You know about the next shipments..."

"Not my ship! I wouldn't know. Same again, I would have thought. Just small arms."

Gutted, Zink. Time to get working then.

Will we be back on the surface, or do we have to wait for Esgabeth?

Arvus crumples to the ground as Lord Vader releases him.

"As you command...Lord Vader..." Arvus gasps from the ground.

Yes it is time to get working, but your personal involvement cannot begin again until day, so you need to act on what you have discovered now.

Well, we should probably start out by letting them know what we've found already, since we did locate some of the weapon stashes.
