USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Ok then

Going off on another tack, while Lana and Zink work out a way to get records (seems to be our job, 'collecting' records), do we have any idea of who Matadan's surviving allies are?

We have no idea as of yet, I think. I'm sure we could work that out once we get the records.

Help them come up with a means of distracting the guards, though, that'd be good. 😛

What I think we really need is to find some drunk, disenfranchised Osokan, who can give us the whole lowdown on Lanzar and t'other Osokans.

As for distracting the guards, could we fry some bacon upwind of them?

... they ARE pigs. I am unsure it works like that.

No, the Matadan thing seems to be a closed book. It's a job for Melkor.

I mean, they'd think it was Osokans on fire, and maybe go check it out.

Well, I'll give you marks for originality!

😉

I mean, if a human guard knew humans were burning, they'd probably go check it out, yeah? And Osokans would know, 'cos of their sense of smell.

Sweet! Extra marks!

😂 that suggestion amuses me way too much.

Though I was thinking, we're not really going to be able to distract the Osokans by talking to them - for one thing, chances are they're not even going to speak basic and I don't think any of us would be able to speak their language. So I was thinking, maybe setting off some sort of explosion somewhere in the city, and make them all go running that way?

I dunno, trying to think of things here 😛

I'm still going for something scent-based and not too flashy.

Scent-based would be good, because I remember them tracking us by scent in the PT game...stupid pigs...

It is also the sense they are most percpetive with, so I'd be careful about that.

Ush, is there any way to make responding to Re-entry attempts faster? Or perhaps a way for us to detect enemy ships quicker?

Ah now, why don't you put your mind to that?

Hmmm, Well, is there any particular way to reposition the SDs and TIEs to make Detection and Neutralisation easier? Could Trebeis use his Warfare, Observation and Pilot skills to figure this out?

No, re-positioning won;t do it. Either you are ideal to catch small ships or large; there is no such thing as an arrangement perfect for everything.

When you say about detecting ships more quickly, how exactly do you mean that? On the surface? In hyperspace? You already have plentiful warning for the second, and so long as someone can see them on the ground, the first is covered.

Meanwhile, we are now in the transition period to the afternoon, although owing to Rebel activity some afternoon events will not happen spontaneously.

It is time for the Commissar to go visit the Senators, and COll, you have your appointment with Drakkon coming up.

I still have to devise how I'm presenting the 'I want immunity to raptors' conversation...

Perhaps I could play it off that General Coll is a big hunting man himself and was quite interested in the nature of the raptors.

Indeed you do, but I am ticking the clock on regardless these days.

You are more a fighty than social character, unlike the Captain, so it is hard to pull off anything too outlandish.
