USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

"In any case," Coll butts in. "I will order the advance tomorrow, with or without political approval."

Oh, I had a tactical question. Putting AT-ATs through the shields is out of the question, but what about AT-STs? We could position a walker or so with the artillery to give the Osokans something to think about when they try to pick off our artillery squads...

"Indeed." Trebeis says absentmindedly in regards to the Blockade. Turning to Ulrand, Trebeis Inquires "How many TIEs will we be able to put in support of the Attack?"

(Ulrand, that depends how much they are willing to take out the blockade)

Coll- oh definitely, yes, you can support the artillery with all kinds of ground forces. And Atar's vulnerable worry is the artillery before it gets through the shield anyway.

"Without my interference, and the work of my agents, we wouldn`t be able to put the blockade at all, Commodore, or catch any of the smuggled weapons. But I don`t think we should waste our time with foolish accusations.

If you really think afternoon is too late, perhaps we can start the advance at tomorrow noon? I really need the early morning at last."

"If you are certain you will have solverd the political situation so soon, why wait on the advance? We can begin, and by the time anyone complains, it will be too late, because you will have a reason!"

"It isn`t so easy as you think Commodore, remember that I am against Andran, perhaps the most dangerous man in the Senate, while on the military front we are only against a bunch of barbarians, which makes your task much easier. I am doing my best, but there are still difficulties, though I am confident they will be overcome.

Let`s agree to start the advance around 12-13 PM tomorrow. It should be enough to arrive at the Lanzar city next day, and gives me more time."

"Too late," General Coll says. "It will need to begin in the early morning."

(Perhaps send the ground forces in before the artillery to clear out what resistance there is?)

"Too late," General Coll says. "It will need to begin in the early morning."

"Are you CERTAIN about it, General Coil?"- Commisar`s attitude is again guite firm, becoming almost agressive.

"And by the way, what about the rebels from Last Laugh? Are they caught yet, as I demanded, or are such "complex" operations as catching several terrorists who had they spaceship crashed beyond our humble capabilities, I wonder? They could provide evidence that would destroy Andran."

Janthis is sitting next to Coll.
During the meeting.

Is that directed at Coll, Melkor?

Just letting people know I am there and just to not feel left out 😛

But mostly it was to Melkor's little out burst against Coll and the fact he is interested about this mssion to get the rebels

"I assume that the Last Laugh exploded upon impact with the surface," General Coll says, "but the space battle was not of my concern, so I am unsure. If the coordinates for the crash sight can be pinpointed, I could send scout walkers to investigate."

The first part was towards Coil. The Last Laugh bit for Nidar, Trebeis and Atar.

"We had the Co-Ordinates relayed to Ground Command." Leveling his Iron Gaze now upon the Commisar, he continues "Beyond that, it was out of my Jurisdiction and Power."

To Ulrand: "We will allocate as many as deemed safe."

"Ah, indeed you did..." Coll says, checking his datapad. "Well, in that case, I wish to know if the Commissar requires me to send in a task force to investigate the crashsite?"

"You mean it hasn`t been sent yet? I contacted General Atar about it as well as Captain Trebeis just after the battle."

Lyle'll sit down and join in. (Afraid I don't know Nines, Ush... Probably doesn't matter.) Giving it a couple of hands, he'll get into general conversation and try and lean it toward either Drakkon or the Imperial blockade.

"General Atar's duty was to oversee the landing of the Army," General Coll says, "not the ground activities. You should have contacted General Lomax or myself."
