It seems I should have contacted everyone here, since that despite the fact that it takes few minutes to send message to the planet, the highest ranking officers of Imperial military apparently don`t know how to communicate with each other!

"Calm yourself, Commissar," Coll says. "I shall issue the orders for the crash site to be investigated by scouts. If anyone is alive, they shall be taken prisoner. I highly doubt there will be anyone present, however...among the living, at least."

"{i]No[/i]," says Atar, decisively. "The ship crashed in part of the jungle. We don't even have evidence of survivors, let alone a precise landing point. I wll not waste men searching for phantoms in a hostile environment."

"Our forces shot down those terrorists, Commissar," says Nidar. "You, on the other hand, allowed them to arm the Osokans. It seems that for all your claims of caring, you have only helped them, where we have stopped them. And if you keep blaming myself and my officers for everything I shall take this matter to Lord Vader and submit to his justice. Seeing as he ordered interception of the ships where you did not, I am assuming he agrees with my interpretation on the matter."

The greatest Imperial triumph thus far in this game has been naval (as opposed to army or political), so Nidar and the Captains are in a strong position. I think levelling the Rebel capturing accusations at Nidar has bounced badly, because the blockade did down them and it is hardly the Navy's job to catch people on the ground.

"Is there no way to check?" General Coll asks. "Perhaps probe droids could be sent?"

"The planet is under Senatorial jurisdiction for now. We'd need Andran's permission to search it, and if we don't have good evidence to produce to him he won't budge. The ship fell out the sky, General. It's hardly believable to look for survivors."

"Would Andran have to know?"

"Lanzar may be a primitive world but they have a sensor network. And Andran seems to be monitoring things from his ship."

You need Gambling to get useful things out of it; it is what the skill is for.

"Which reminds me, what is being done to protect our Assets on the Ground?"

"No-one could have survived that crash," says Atar, firmly.

"I don't think it would hurt to check," Coll says, "but more likely than not, the Last Laugh has been vaporized in the crash."

Coll pauses.

"What of that little probe that one of our Agents uses?"

"Yes it will hurt," says Atar. "We've seen what happens to squads in the jungle."

"Oh, well, yes, that would hurt of course," Coll replies.

"Atar, why is it that you seem so terribley hesitant to search the crash. Are you perhaps, Trying to aid any surviving Rebel Terrorists escape?"

Atillian's eyes narrow, and he glares at the General with open suspicion.

"No, I am trying not to waste men, resources and time on fruitless missions with absolutely no evidence that they would bring any benefit. And if you make another accusation like that in future I want it in writing and to be supported by evidence else I shall take up the matter with Imperial Command."

"I think we should refrain from pointless insults, Captain," says Nidar. "This meeting is about strategy, not accusations. What is our military presence in the city, Atar?"

"About two hundred Stormtroopers. Not enough to be useful. The Senate won't allow more, and as Senatorial security is with them we have no legal grounds to compel a larger presence."

"It is not an accusation, but simply curiosity stemming from strange Behavior."

Leaning forward, towards the General, Trebeis continues.

"And do watch how you speak to me, Atar. I am not someone to be trifled with, especially not by you."

Turning to face away from the General, Trebeis looks at the Commissar, Nidar and Coll.

"What would it take to have that site Investigated?"

"Captain Trebeis, I told you to stop," says Nidar. "Now stay silent until you remember who is in charge here."
