Very well.

As per scrambling equipment, it must be said, the Empire is not well known for its subtle technology.

"Indeed, Captain Trebeis, there is no need to question the loyalty of General Atar. If you suspect traitors in the military, please contact me about it." -Melkor calms down, and saying those words brings a little sinister smile on his face.

"But I have to agree with Trebeis on this. Those Rebel scum are likely to be former pirates or smugglers, people used to getting away in such situations. Does it cost us much to send a patrol or two?"

"It will cost us the patrol. We don't actually know where the site is," reminds Atar. "There was no low-level observation of the crash. The potential area must be hundreds of square miles in size."

"A flight over the area, with an attentive pilot and accurate scanners... Would most certainly find it in no time."

Pausing to Glance at Ulrand, Trebeis Continues.

"And it certainly would not be impossible to off any complaints, by simply explaining that the flight's purpose is to survey the area to any dangers to His Imperial Majesty's Troops."

"Stormtroopers will not be sent," Coll decides. "Commander Janthis has shown us that they are not fit to fight Raptors en masse, no matter how many soldiers there are. If anything, I suggest sending the probe droid of that Arvus character. Other than that, Atar has convinced me."

"I agree with Captain Trebeis and General Coil in this matter."- Commisar speaks a bit flatly.

"Now, could we return to the subject of the hour when advance starts? If all senior officers agree that we absolutely have to move at early morning, I will not oppose it. And we must remember about safety of the Senators."

"The Senatorial mission does indeed pose a problem. Could we not have the Garrison of Stormtroopers already in the city, "Escort" them to their ships?"

"Well, they certainly have to come by their own will. We can`t just arrest them. Though I doubt they would like to stay in invaded city."

"Advancing the Army does not mean attack Lanzar City," General Coll says. "It is when the attack comes that the Senatorial mission poses a problem, and they will not leave until their mission is complete or their mission fails."

"As I pointed out," says Atar, "The Senators have their own guards, so putting in more troops or using troops on the grounds of security does not work."

"Excuse me," says Jarek, "but I can't see this being a problem. We're not actually intending to invade whilst the Senators are still there, are we?"

"Not in the least," Coll says. "The problem is that we cannot make the attack whilst they are still there; it would delay our attack. Sorry if I was misunderstood. Under no circumstances will my men fire on the City while the Senators remain within it."

"So it strikes me that we in the military need not worry about the Senators at all," says Jarek.

Lyle, then, will simply seat himself at the bar, next to anyone who looks like a local or regular, and after a first drink, try and get into conversation with him. Discussion of the Imperial presence once more, perhaps also questioning what they might want from Lanzar.

They are very uncomfortable at the Imperial presence. The blockade has them all extremely nervous. They are here to make money- it's a good market because the Guilds are desperate to sell- but there's no point of the Imperials are going to be so trigger happy.

If the blockade becomes permanent, they are getitng out of there ASAP.

"Indeed..." General Coll says.

...hopefully.

"In any case, the Generals are in agreement that the Army should advance at dawn tomorrow, then?"

Can Lyle try and find out which guilds the smugglers buy off, and those guilds' relationship with Drakkon.

They deal with representatives; they don't care for the politics of the situation at all.

What about my question concerning the start of army advance?

Well, that's not where the conversation went.

"Have we agreed on the beginning of advance? If every officer agrees that we have to start at the dawn, i won`t oppose it."
