USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Hmmm, Vadar took the Fighters? As Trebeis was (Last I heard) in charge of the Blockade, and Fighters therein. May I assumer I have some?

If so, Trebeis would order three or so TIEs to take a look.

When you check, you find Vader left your Squadron leader with his own Squadron and two others for the blockade; he took all others, so no, you don't.

The full extent of the earlier comment that air cover was no longer available for the landing force should now be clear...

Indeed, Vader alerted us that he was in full control of the air cover now.

Which I'm still curious what for.

Anyways, General Coll will want to try requisitioning air cover from Vader at some point.

How goes the battle?

When you say "at some point" do you mean now?

...yes. Unless Lord Vader is sleeping.

...

Do Sith sleep?

Well, you understand certain ships have a place for Vader to rest.

But as it happens, he takes your message. A message comes back, querying why you are making the request when you are not the General whose business it is.

General Coll will state that the stormtroopers are being affected by the lack of air cover in the current situation with the Raptors.

The message comes back emphasising that is is not in your area of responsibility to worry about security at the landing site.

Coll will reply that he understands, and apologizes for bothering Lord Vader.

"I will need to emphasize to General Lomax that we need air cover," Coll says, returning to his place beside Esgabath and Trebeis as they watch the readings and such.

Is Esgabeth not on the flagship?

Oh, right, we're not the flagship...

No, he is on the flagship, as far as I know. He seemed to be interacting with us, so probably via comm...

Yes, he is on the flagship and will suggest making such request to General Lomax.

So then, would Ulrand be able to take a look?

Literally, yes, practically he already thinks the blockade cannot reasonably work with just three squadrons.

As for suggestions... well, you are fighting a battle by committee here, which is doomed to failure. Coll asks someone about something who reminds him of something so he asks someone else about it who then goes to tell to someone else about it... blah, no, that's useless. You would almost certainly have no effect even if anything did get done in time... which it really did not. If you want action you must be much more decisive.

As it is, the battle is now over before anyone could have any effect on it. Final toll is about 1000 Stormtroopers dead; that is one less Trooper unit that will be available to use come the Battle.

Well, shouldn`t Nidar be the one taking charge in such situations? Commisar will subtly remind him of it.

We had 10 000 men on each Destroyer if I remember correctly?

"1000? How is it possible? What do you plan to do to avoid such losses in future, General Lomax?"

Other than putting his ship in position, Nidar didn't really think the navy had any other input. The ground war is not his responsibility and he didn't have any fighters to send.

Yes, the 10000 figure is about right.

Well, Lomax has some tactical reports coming in from his field commanders which might shed light on the situation...

Well Nidar as a Commodore is superior military Commander. And senior General is Adar, what is he doing?

I wonder if I could do something to bolster the morale of soldiers.... Perhaps I should make a motivational speech, promising some benefits like bigger salary( Stormtroopers are paid, right?)

He is senior, yes, but it is not his place to lead the army.

Adar will just say it is Lomax's job.

Err, I guess Troopers are paid, yeah...

I will go down for a short inspection.

It is within my power to promise benefits to troops?

Yup.
