USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

I can answer that! I had to sneak in there to retrieve the plans to the City. It's closed to outsiders, as far as I know.

Well that's odd.

General Coll will ask his ally, Lieutenant Bast, to locate Lord Vader's shuttle.

Well, Commisar will just stride confidently into the Hall of Records. If Osokan guards try to stop him, he wil pretend to be outraged , and mention Drakkon`s name, pretending that he has a permission. (Perhaps he heard enough Osokan to utter a simple sentence, like "Drakkon allowed me to enter, do you want to get him angry?!"😉

Maybe sometimes outregous lies are the best? Guards may be afraid of Drakkon so wouldn`t dare to ask him about it.

Why lie at all?

Throw around the power you have, Melkor! You shouldn't have to pretend to possess the permission of some backwater barbarian to go where you wish!

"Good morning!" Lyle says, approaching his new found friends.

Of course! I am just acting like you described- a person with enough authority that he is NOT to be questioned.

Not to mention that not knowing Osokan language doesn`t allow for much elasborate lying here....

Though, as I've observed from talking with Drakkon, they are entirely uninterested in who we are or how much power we have.

Well, I am a bit desperate and would really like to do something.... Andran is quite a frustrating opponent....

By the way, could we prepare an operation to kidnap Drakkon?

*chokes*

Good luck with that. He is NOT going to let you take him quietly...

The Hall of Records is indeed not public. But that's not the same as being a shoot-to-kill area, and the sudden arrival of an important personage throws them a little.

There are several Osokans on guard here, and when you stride in one of them comes to meet you. He speaks Basic, and he asks about your business here.

"Someone from the Senatorial Commission coming, sir" says the Stormtrooper commander.

---

The other traders stay quiet, Lyle. The Osokan speaks.

"You want business? Hmmm. We can make you... MUCH money. But only if you have much money to buy with in the first place."

---

A few minutes later, Bast gets back to you, Coll.

"The hangars are empty," he says. "Lord Vader has dispersed virtually the entire TIE force in various small clearings in the jungle around the city. He is inspecting them."

---

As for Drakkon... are you talking before or after the fighting starts?

I have a feeling we wouldn't be able to take Drakkon before the fighting starts.

"That's very strange..." Coll replies. "Thank you, Bast."

Inspecting?

Maybe?

Would General Coll be able to visit Lord Vader on the surface?

Striding along side the Commisar, the Captain straightens his Sidearm, and replies with a grin "That would indeed be intresting. Perhaps after the invasion of his city, we could see how much his attitude has changed."

"I can get you," Lyle says, "much money. But I need to know what my investors will be paying for."

What kind of social roll do you want to make to be convincing, Lyle?

-

Certainly no problem a man of your authority getting down there, Coll. So I guess your question refers to whether you have the guts to do it, which is for you to answer.

-

"It's Senator Galahad, sir," says the Commander.

Hmm... Would be nice to go half and half with lying and persuade.

But, since I'm lying, lying it is!

"There are certain matters involving the negotiations. It is necessary to check few facts involving the recent history of Lanzar to conclude the Peace Treaty."- Commisar will try to radiate an aura of authority, like a righteous person who is not to be questioned.

(assuming there is a slight diffrence in time between this and Galahad`s approach)

"Senator Galahad? I was hoping for a diffrent Senator"- Commisar curses -"Inform him that I will speak with him soon. Or perhaps you could engage him in conversation, Captain Trebeis?" ( Could Melkor know that Galahad`s son was a Jedi and he lost his daughter in tragic circumstances? My Aide researched the background on Senators. If he knows, he will show with Trebeis.)

Ush, didn`t we discuss capturing Drakkon before? It would likely be impossible in current circumstances, but Generals know that he is wanted alive, and it should be taken into account. Perhaps our agents could help in this.
