You noticed that to huh.

Melkor has been doing that since the begining 😛

There has to be a breaking point for that sheild, anyway. I recall reading in a Starwars book once, that there is weak-points in sheilds of that sort.

Maybe Ush Lucas gave the Commissar a problem with names for comedic relief, like Jar-Jar in Episode I!

...

Maybe we should change some of the other names, too. That'll confuse the Rebs if they try to infilitrate our thread. I think that must have been the Commissar's plan all along.

I thought you could fly under the bottom of some shields?

The bottom of the shield would be...well, the ground.

In the Battle of Hoth, they flew out of the shield's range and marched through it.

Nidar was confident the shield could be overwhelmed. He recommended that option from the very start. However...

"I appreicate the support but my plan was a two day one. I thought that was the time it would take to batter the shield down, from orbit.

"But muich as the apparent incompetence from the Army bothers me- after all, only the Navy had had any successes in these days- I don't think we need worry. That army is huge and well-equipped; nothing is going to stop it. It's whether they do anything in time is the worry."

-

Janthis and Coll soon work out the problem when their shittle gets down there- a multi-hundred ton dinosaur out of your worst nightmares is attacking the camp. Your delicate system of extra troop and speeder bike patrols could not have been less effective against it.

For some reason I knew it would be a giant lizard thingy.

well then I'll wait for Janthis will wait for Coll to be the first to speak.

Coll stares, his mouth agape, horrified that such a beast has been set upon his Army.

"I will not stand for this!" he shouts angrily, banging at the controls. He tries to make contact with General Lomax or Lord Vader via comm on the shuttle.

Would Coll be able to get to one of the AT-ATs?

Unfortunately the shuttle lacks a 'call Lord Vader' button. To put out a general call from the shuttle (as opposed to the fleet) you need the comm relay back up. Lomax isn't answering his personal communicator.

Depends what you mean by 'get in'. Logic dictates you will have to land first.

Still, you are far too late in the day to make a difference, really. Flying over to other parts of the camp- which is huge, after all- you see that the AT-ATs are already starting to power up.

The only realistic way to make a difference would have been to have had a player interacting with the camp 'theatre' (of war). Rebels have scored against an open goal here, all the more annoying in that it's entirely untraceable.

Well, this is why I was a bit annoyed that Janthis jumped into the situation in Lanzar City, but I thought Coll would be here....

Coll, you should move the army as soon as the order is restored. And remember that you have an NPC Lieutenant ally. Wasn`t he at the camp by the way?

Can i send my announcement, Ush?

Nope- things to resolve first.

Is there anyway to stop the beast right now like let's say have someone throw a large bomb down the Monster's throat.

Maybe crash the Shuttle into it while we all jump out at the last second.

I can't deny that would help, if you want to write off a shuttle on it.

And feel free to engage it, but it woul be more about getting some personal glory at this point than making a major tactical difference.

I'm sure Coll would like to get some personal Glory.

Janthis would like to kind of look good for his men.

Maybe they will ge ta morale boost if their general and Commander are willing to do what ever it takes to help them.

There could be value in that.

I say let's go for it. One little shuttle isn't that important.

If could get some verification from Rex.

I want to go with it.

Coll isn't the best pilot, but Coll's personal shuttle is modified to have guns and torpedo launchers. Perhaps torpedoes would have an effect?

If not, I'd rather keep my shuttle (it is mine after all) and attempt to get into contact with the stormtroopers somewhere.

The AT-ATs seem to be the only hope against this...thing.

Oh come one Rex let's do this 😛

And it was your fault for taking your personal shuttle we could have used a normal one.

Anyways yeah the torpedos don't work I say we crash it. 😄

As the beast is trampling over most things without hurting his feet, the shuttle ramming him would probably just be annoying. The AT-AT blasts will absolutely annihilate him. 😛
