Talking of being creative- as for bucking up the morale or organisation of the troops, I am open to suggestions.

I assume for the most part the troops are organized into their squads and groupings. So I assume they are kind of on a downtime rest and wait for the final adjustments to be made things before the march.

I thought Coll could get up infront of them and give them a big motavtional speech about how much they are about to accomplish?

I was also thinking of giving out some advice to the troops in dealing with Osokans in combat and how to attack them that way giving them orders i nthe field could easier because they would know more of what we want?

As well as the general outline of the attack and how it should proceed?

Ush, maybe we can create some shooting range or something? Like put red marks on trees around us, this way the Troops will be already fired up and ready by the time we get to Lanzar.

I have consulted with my girlfirend, and she suggests creating a fire or fire alarm nearby as good idea to get to Hall of Records. She is actually specializing in criminology and simillar science, wishing to work as a prosecutor, so her advice could be useful.

And she believes that women are the best motivation for soldiers. Though her suggestions were a bit inapropariate for PG-13 Star Wars( she said that this is unlikely that all outsiders will leave Lanzar in time, and I can suggest to soldiers that they can have that their way with women). - Well, she scares me sometimes.... ( and she claims that my Ally has personality similar to her, in terms of "bad" qualities, pretty strange as well... unless I play Esgabath as the quintessance of my "evil" traits, and Ush is so good that he mirrors it in my ally.... a bit unsetlling to think about it).

Unless you're willing to give us your aide to share for 10,000 stormtroopers for morale, all we have are osokan women.

Well, I doubt that the diffrence between Osokan female and male is that obvious to casual observer....... ❌

Ush, what is the standard attack formation for Stormtroopers? What about reserves? Attacking the city from four sides would likely occupy most of our men....

It seems like the Army will have more than just an advantage, Numerically speaking. A small reserve for hot spots is all that would most likely be needed.

The idea of motivating the Troopers with the prospect of the Off world women seems like a valid one. Perhaps it should be used?

We have a blockade, including a huge que of ships leaving the planet. No off world woman will stay, if there are any off world women on Lanzar right now. Bringing women from other planets, we wouldn't have enough time.

Commisar has already declared to soldiers the increase of their payment, with the possibility of it being even further increased. How about improving the food rations as well, Ush?

I assume we wait for Rebels with Commisar`s situation?( Which is good, becuase i should be studying- except that I am not...)

And with the women, we can promise them for later.

I'm General Coll, not General Hooker. Women doesn't seem the proper motivation for the Imperial Army; sexuality was never a strongpoint in the original trilogy unless it was love. We're the faceless, intimidating force that only needs the Emperor's word and we will die for it.

Ush, is the fate of Lanzar post-invasion an issue in terms of this scenario? How many Osokans there are outside of Lanzar city? I was thinking about placing the puppet governor in place of Drakkon, but he likely wouldn`t be more effective than Matadan, unless we leave a VERY large Stormtrooper garrison. So perhaps slaughter and taking some sort of "slaves" would be better. I assume Osokans would make even better labour force than Wookies, certainly I could lent some to Tarkin`s current big project.... Could I personally benefit from it like from blockade, if it is under the jurisdiction of Commisariat? We will of course call it all "Re-education through labor project" so Senate has no problem.

( And now officially I am more hooked for continuing this game than for PT, this is becoming a really unique experience for me).

Anyway. Standard Stormtrooper attack formation is in line. It's very Napoleonic. It'll be different inside the city itself of course.

As for after the battle- interesting question. Depends on how you interpret the Emperor.

And I assume all availible Osokans will fight inside the city, so matter of "civilian" casualties is irrelevant and we may slaughter everybody then? But there are many more Osokans outside the city?

I think it may be suitable to report to Emperor when city us in our hands. Esgabath would like to take credit for all sucesses.

And yes. One piece of good news for you is that all Osokans are combatants. Even if, absolutely literally, that is fuzzy, no-one will question it to any significant extent. No-one important, anyway.

But there are millions of Osokans on this world?( It always seemed to me that besides some Core Worlds most planets have significantly less population than Earth- Star Wars did never operate on such a grand scale- especially OT)
