USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Lord Melkor372 pages

Sorry then, I think this game made me a bit exited. I think you should take it as compliment that your games make me so anxious to know what happens next. But I see that Darkside has corrupted me, I shall try to learn patience. 😗

Though perhaps I am just reflecting IC attitude- Esgabath knows that he is racing with time, he has spent over an hour trying to get past a large amount of scum, and fears that Vader will kill him if he doesn`t return with something substantial. So my character has every right to be anxious, poor guy...

So I can`t just accompany Senators on the way to Starport?

But I have communicated with my Aide half an hour ago( and two pages ago), and I gave orders regarding Sartorus. She hasn`t responded yet?

Rylis, yes you are going to be in this anti-Drakkon team, I have been planning it for some time( and I still love your sigs, by the way). Esgabath has told you about it. Better worry about Rylis dying because of not paying attention to what her boss says.

Did you? I don't remember you telling me that. Well, okay then!

(thanks, btw 😄)

Well, didn`t I try to motivate you and Arvus with saying that you either prepare or Drakkon is going to slaughter you?

That's just sort of common sense for anyone who's going to be involved in the fighting 😛

Yes, I was just trying to remind you that there is a bit of diffrence between Rylis and Rianna- Rylis should be very cautious person, I think you even described her as that. Rianna and Galder could try to assault the Hall without good plan and maybe survive- just like we blundered with Serpent and had to slaughter them all- but not you I think.

Also, look for how Drakkon is defended- and you could check if he has place to sleep outside Throne Room, since this operation may be during the night. Though he may rather oversee preparations for battle then sleep.

Oh yeah, Rylis is definitely very cautious, hence me wanting her and Arvus to check out as much of the inside of the Guild Hall as they can in person. She's just also not going to walk away from what will likely be her biggest capture ever 😛

And that's pretty much stuff I wanted to look for, though mostly I was wanting to look for defenses and stuff like that.

Well, seems like it might be a good idea to find somewhere to set off a mini-charge as a distraction.

Lyle will begin looking for a suitable place to set one.

Well, I was commenting in-game...

So I would make a good Sith? Esgabath is usually patient, but you have to agree that recent days were frustrating- frustrating Andran and his perfectly lawful ways, frustrating stubborn Osokans, frustrating Vader lashing at him without good reason, frustrating smuggler scum blocking his way instead of waiting to die on this planet like it wouldn`t suit them, finally frustrating rebels sending Sauropods against army.....

So I am sure frustration is perfectly suitable feeling- fortunately Commisar is persistent and is not going to surrender easily.

By the way, what I said concerning my Ally reflects how you see it? At least hopefully she won`t become another source of frustration... Commisar really likes her and will buy her a suitable gift if this mission ends well- perhaps a small moon with nice landscapes as a good place for leisure?

Melkor, seriously, your scaring me with your attitude to Aide. She's just an Aide, just boss her around.

Coll, are you and I going to attack the Hall sector?

(I just got all these Star Wars novels which pwn... Curently reading Star Wars: Republic Comando Triple Zero. It rocks. And I think i'm going to reinstall Star Wars: Empire at War and play it for a bit, I miss making huge fleets and destroying rebel scum on asteroids which look like a huge poopy.)

Ush, I assume I could take the risk of arresting Andran and finding evidence later..... but since the Mission is finished, I do not gain anything from it. If any evidence is gained later, it is irrelevant if he is on Coruscant or here?

Now there is the matter of questions I could ask Sartorus- certainly something that could question the Treaty, or if not at least make it look like Andran screwed some things, in the eyes of Senate. There is the matter of Osokans atrocities, that Andran likely wouldn`t mention in his report- What exactly happened with Matadan would be very useful- perhaps my Aide found something, but Sartorus could confirm. I also rememeber that Andran himself mentioned that Drakkon didn`t allow Lodge Captains to negotiations- surely it would question the accuracy of those proceedings, since Andran basically bowed to the dictate of illegal dictator who overthrew goverment recognized by the Galaxy, not willing to listen to other leaders? (even if Andran says again that Matadan rigged elections- I say where is the proof? And certainly Drakkon didn`t prove anything by leading violent rebellion).

Okay, so such information could potentially give a me Sympathy point or two if I present it to the Senate right. And if we have some details on Drakkon`s atrocities, we could order his arrest for trial- than he refuses, and his forced capture would qualify as "justified arresting for trial", or wouldn`t it Ush?

Finally, there is the matter of Sartorus knowing anything about Rebel involvement or Andran being part of it- but here I would be careful not to scare Sartorus and make him withdraw- so I would ask about it last, if at all.

Do my ideas seem logical, Ush? Frankly, my Aide could have asked some of those questions if I really can`t speak with Sartorus, but such crucial tasks I prefere to do alone. She is good, but lacks my experience and authority. And failures are not allowed at this point.

Well, cut a long story short, arresting Andran is suicide.

The treaty is done and dusted. Finding reasons why there shouldn't have been one is now somewhat moot. Incidentally, that Government, now, was not recognised by the Galaxy.

How could Sartorus know anything about Rebels?

Still, I have to have some hope for this deal, otherwise things look very bleak. I assume that Sartorus was shrewd to held some useful piece of information since he was planning for this deal earlier on. He said something about being concerned about the instability of this Treaty- did it seem like he was alluding to something he knows here?

Also, how is "justified" arrest on Drakkon supposed to look like?

As much as possible.

Well, damm those short but to the point responses..... 😄 It gets one really back to harsh reality.

How about: Andran is a traitor because Vader said so, so I assume Emperor said so, and Emperor is never wrong? We have to wait five years for getting away with such splendid and unquestionable reasoning, it seems.....

And Treaty is moot because it is work of a Traitor. Perfect logic.

Well, I think we all know that won't work.

No false evidence! And no pointless arrests. We have to have something on them in order to make it a feasibly done deal. Otherwise, Rebels are the victors in the political grounds, and we might as well pack up the Army.

Not letting that happens. I want blood.

Jaiden, it seems that the Commissar has handed that responsibility to Commander Travis, under the command of Marshall Atar. However, if you wanted to go the Hall to capture Drakkon as well, General Coll would be perfectly happy to transfer you. The more killers, the better!

Well, what's he going to do? Hang around down there with the army, or up there with the fleet?

Well, Commisar is trying his best. This plotline feels actualy like a solo game to certain extent, but it makes me more involved.

By the way, Coll, decisive military victory is as important as political one- how many times have you angered Vader? One more mistake and you are dead, I think. Especially that you tried to screw Commisar who appointed you to lead the invasion, just as you wanted, and who wanted to save your skin. Now I am sticking with Nidar, he is my type.

That's the bribery talking, to be sure. 😉

The General will be down with his Army, of course. The Star Destroyers are boring; the Army is where the action is.
