USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

"Lyle was able to get the justification because it is far easier for him to be undercover than it is for either of us. And if you say that our needs are simple, you severely underestimate the costs of keeping our equipment and ships running in top condition. This is essential to both of our jobs and not at all luxuries." Rylis replies a bit sharply.

"I planted a bug inside the main hall; I'd have liked to get one inside the throne room but it was guarded and I felt that tangling with Osokans now would not be the smartest of ideas. If we had been able to get into the Guild Hall earlier...then I am sure that the bugs would have been able to collect us ample evidence, though now I don't know if they'll get us anything. As to how Kyle and his insectile friend are still alive...by all means they should not be. They should have perished in that crash. I believe they had some sort of help. I also still believe that what they were moving earlier were weapons, though none of the crates they were moving were found. If only the droid hadn't been sent away..."

"I am not Vader, Miss Bounty Hunter, and I don`t want to play the game of excuses." -Commisar replies in sarcarstic tone, with perhaps a tiny bit of contempt.

"I prefer constructive input, as I believe that there will later be time for the full evaluation of mistakes. Do you think that Agent Lyle could be of further use on Lanzar?"

Lyle can just come back up with the invasion force.

Yes, Lyle, this will be dangerous, but still having an Imperial Agent on Lanzar should be a great asset. Commisar agrees with it.

Lyle stays behind and tries not to be caught, then. I assume it would be difficult to track suspected Rebels without being spotted? Can Arvus leave his droid for Lyle, if Lyle knows how to use it?

Lyle doesn't know how to use it.

And this all depends on where Lyle is going to hide out.

Attempts to gain contact with Sartorus as quick as possible would be more efficiently made from Victorious than from my shuttle? Still, I don`t want to be again too delayed by other events, like with blockade announcement. If there is a way, I would like to send him some kind of encrypted message. Does he have some personal communication channels and can I get it somehow? Maybe I should contact his office? The Comission will be on Coruscant later this day, making report to the Senate?

Also, I can just as well establish communication from Victorious to Guild Hall if I want to speak to Drakkon? Since he would know of invasion by then, it may seem logical to think that he simply wouldn`t mind admitting what he did with Matadan. He is proud after all, and his attitude would be like "bring it on", I assume.

"None that I see," Arvus says. "The next step here is burning everything down; Lyle wouldn't be safe here, if he got found out. There'd be no escape."

"Well, he can always escape in the chaos, our troops would not kill him. And he may accomplish something worthwile before... well, he may well join with you against Drakkon. Actually, it was my original plan. And do you care about his potential death that much, if he is willingly taking the risk, Assasin? It is all for the greater good of the Empire, after all."- Commisar seems to be slightly amused.

"I'm saying that he could get in trouble before any of our soldiers pull in. You can just send him back down with us when we come for Drakkon. He's more use to us alive."

"Well, it would take hours before all non-Osokans leave. And then he can always hide somewhere..... you think his chances are that low?"

It will take hours before they all leave, but you reckon the city itself will be clear- save the starport- within an hour.

And Lyle couldn`t possible pass as Rebel, right?

Does it seem like he his chances are very low? Commisar is actually not expert on such matters. But if Lyle hides all the time, he may be of no use.

I will have to wait a bit for resolving the situation with Sartorus and contacting him?

They don't wear badges.

Well, it's all down to aims and objectives with Lyle. His ooinion will be- well, he's the man to stay in hostiel territory; part of his job. But much as you wouldn't send stormtroopers into the jungle just to die for the hell of it, if he's going to do something that dangerous he's going to want to know why.

Unless we can think of any specific things for him to be doing, I think Lyle should pull out with us.

However, the thought has come to me that if the city's going to be cleared out of all non-Osokans very soon, Lyle might stand out...but if there are any Rebels who've stuck around as well, they'll stand out as well.

Well, I wanted him to help a bit with Drakkon capture. Atar mentioned the main problem would be the anti-air defences for the Guild Hall. Lyle could have a chance on disabling it, right?

But Commisar` s priority at this point is actually finding some justification for the invasion. I assume his career will be in great danger otherwise, right? Giving Drakkon to Emperor would be very nice, but if Senate makes too much noise, it will be Commisar to be blamed. So if Lyle could somehow help with justyfing the invasion.....

Well, those Rebels likely have some ways to recognize each other right? We don`t know anything about their ways? If Lyle could somehow pass as one.... I am sure he would be able to find about great many things.

I doubt he could pose as a Rebel. He would have to, somehow, prove it to Drakkon, and the Rebels already there would let him know that he was not one of their own and have him executed.

I am not sure that Rebels are that keen on executing people..... but Commisar could not know it- and he certainly doesn`t expect high moral ground from people, especiallly terrorists.

He couldn`t possible pretend that he left the Empire to join the Rebels?

Well, if Lyle's an Imp, they wouldn't want him to run to his superior later. I know I wouldn't.

Even if the Rebels aren't, I'm sure Osokans couldn't care less about 'moral high ground'.

Well, yes.

He wouldn`t likely be able to successfully track the Rebels anyway without being spotted?

Ush, Commisar is still confused about this Sasha person. He thinks that she is a naive person, manipulated by Rebels and Senator Galahad most likely. She seemed to be acting against his Mission, but seemed clueless about Rebel involvement, right? She isn`t likely to be good enough to fool Commisar? Did anyone saw her with this Kyle and others much?

Actually, Commisar will also ask his Aide if she encountered Duchess in the Hall.
