USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

I thought that I was quick enough to see this note before we returned?

Then I am simply returning and going to that Lodge, taking Lyle with me. Sorry for confusion. I will still try to mix it with the leaving of soldiers in the city,

Can I go there through normal transport, not my shuttle?

Can I quickly talk it with Atar and take smaller escort, by the way? But quickness is my priority.

Though I certainly don`t want to give an impression that I am wasting time- I must speak with this Vortigen very quickly- I must not fail my Master!

Could Lyle help Melkor slip away from the stormtroopers, or is that not really done?

You can't make him invisible! They;r egoing to notice him... moving away.

Atar point blank refuses.

"Absolutely not," he says. "With respect, there's no way you are going down there without me giving you a full escort."

Okay, I have no time to argue, I am going down! Would it delay me much if I were using one of troop transports( that are supposed to take those Stormtroopers left in the city, I think) instead of my shuttle? It wouldn`t then be immediately obvious that I have arrived.

Sure thing!

Do you want us with you?

Well, ok, at this point then, the Commissar is back down on the surface, with his escort.

Coll and co- it's hard to avoid, You're taking casualties at the flanks, as raptors pick men off.

Ulrand and Trebeis- the last ships are leaving through the blockade now.

ISD Revenge has left orbit.

I really don`t want to bring attention, if anything I could use a distraction. I would prefer Rylis and Arvus to report to Atar concerning Drakkon if there isn`t anything to do for them currenlty.

So, Ush, if I go through transport, and all other troops in the city are ordered to starport at the same time, it wouldn`t be immediately obvious that Commisar is with Travi`s Company, right? Perhaps for even better distraction, some troops could be ordered to move in strange directions- like in the direction of Guild Hall for example, or shield generator? Not to attack, but such confusing pattern of movement may allow my journey to the Lodge to be concealed for some amount of time....

Since I may not be able to post tomorrow, Commisar is quickly going to Vortigen`s Lodge, nevermind how succesful distraction other Stormtroopers actually provided( I assume Travis can understand the concept of confusing the enemy well?).

Commisar talks with Lyle on the way:

"It seems you are serving the Empire well, Agent Lyle, your sucess in uncovering the egg smuggling will not be forgotten. I believe that you are wiser man than those criminals like Rylis and Arvus, and posess a wider..... perspective." -Esgabath grins. "What motivates you to serve our Empire?

And concerning our task- Sartorus implies that this Vortigen can give us what we want- mainly the excuse for invasion. Perhaps he knows about some actions from Drakkon that betray the Treaty- something connected with the election issue, which seems to be the most controversial one? As to why he could be willing to cooperate with hated Imperials- I assume he either hates Drakkon more than us, or is as blinded by his hunger for power as our old dear dead friend Matadan. Might be both.

Certainly, we will flatten his ego and make all promises he wants- getting a Lodge Captain on our side would be a great asset, even in actual battle perhaps. If he sides with Empire, I would like you to stay with him as our contact."

Alright, reporting to Atar then...

Arvus will request to meet with the Marshall.

Rylis shall as well.

BTW, did Arvus's droid pick up anything when we were in the Guild Hall? And have we gotten anything at all from the bugs Rylis planted?

Nothing interesting on either count.

Atar wants to know what your take on the situation is.

That's annoying. Coll will order a small group of AT-STs to cover the flanks, if they can be spared. If it would mean taking casualties in the middle and front ranks, then cancel the order.

They can't cover the entire flank, it's too big.

"Motivation?" Lyle asks, "Sir, I have a duty to serve. Loyalty is its own reward." He takes a breath. "Have you considered the possibility that Senator Sartorus may be deceiving us?"

You're damn right he's sucking up.

All that would do, Melkor, is draw everyone's attention to the starport and the troopers and get you spotted whether you are being watched or not.

I cannot disguise as Stormtrooper, I assume? It would be against style?

Cannot 100 Stormtroopers surround me in a way that makes it hard to spot me
among them?

You're simply not very good at such deception!

And not to anyone with a decent observation score.

Okay, so the most logical thing seems to be just rushing ahead to that Lodge, hoping that arriving low-profile at the Starport can give me the slim time advantage I need?

And there is no quarantee that they are paying that much attention to the Starport, since things are getting less interesting there.

Sending Lyle alone didn`t seem like a good idea? Commisar wouldn`t place such crucial task in the hands of subordinate, I think.
