USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Janthis heard Coll speak standing to his right side over looking the march. Letting the words sink in Janthis thought
Like it would have mattered this place was going to burn from the beginning

Janthis then said
"Sir yes Sir"

Coll continues to watch through the massive viewport of the AT-AT, out into the dense and forbidding Jungle blocking his straight path to the City. He chuckles as a creature tries to collide with the AT-AT, as they had been doing the past few hours. All it achieves is breaking it's own neck.

"Lieutenant Bast, allow the men to hunt these creatures flitting around my AT-AT. They start to annoy."

Coll strolls around the deck of the AT-AT.

"Commander Janthis, how do you suppose the battle will go? Honestly."

Can Lyle see anything that might be able to help them out?

Nothing,

No wait! What's that switch!

Ah no. Nothing important. Yeah, you can't help.

Janthis looked down at his gun and then back to Coll, "Sir the Osokans are formidable but as long as we do not underestimate them Lanzar will burn to the ground."

Edit: Ush I have a question. Now based the information we have on the Osokans. Would it be safe to say that if we take out any higher ranking Osokans like Captains and Drakkon that the rest of the forces will become very disorganized without a dominat persona to keep them together.

Because I thin kthe key to winning this is that we need to keep the Osokans as disorganized as possible

"Do you think that they will be able to contest our technology? Our walkers, our speeders, our armor?"

Janthis answers, "Sir when I fought alongside Wookies I learned to never underestimate creatures that are fighting for there lives. The Osokans may be outgunned, outtrained, but they are still very dangerous and they are fighting for their entire species to survive."

"Ah yes, the Battle of Kashyyyk, during the Clone Wars. I sometimes forget your exploits, Commander."

"Sir I have been around the Galaxy more times than I would like to remember but I promise that as long as we understand the Osokans and work to maximize their weaknesses we will win."

"That's the spirit, Commander." Coll looks out of the viewport. "Were you present at Geonosis?"

Well, that's heartening. Lyle works on staying alive, then.

Janthis- fair question. Think about an Osokan, what he is and what he does and how they work.

---

Team Osokan-buggered- you can hear the sounds of shuttle engines overhead.

Oh, I can think of some things, but I'll let Janthis answer first...

The shuttles are coming down fast!

One is going to make a strafing run on the walkway to try and clear your way.

"Sir yes I was at the battle of Geonosis but far removed from my position of Commander sir."

Well Ush this is what I know about the Osokans. They are primarily a Hunting race. As far as I know besides the Hunters they have no standing military of any consequence. They are fighting with weapons that are knew to them and the tactics needed to be employed to make them successful take years to learn. In essence we will be fighting civilians who just happen to be harder to take down.

Meaning the majority of people we will be fighting will be civilians. While I don't underestimate they will fight long afterwards I don't think without a strong willed person to keep them in organized they will manage to keep up formations.

So Yes I think killing officers should disorganize them.

Does this sound right Ush?

Well, more than that, you don't think they really have the type of people who would keep them in formations anyway.

So what your saying is that they will not be orgainzed no matter what?

Would there be any benefit to killing higher ranking Osokans then?

"Commander Traviss, our remaining men must defend the shuttle while we enter it!"- Commisar shouts, a bit relieved that cavalry has arrived.

"I think that is going to be their job rather than our, sir."

-

It's hard to even identify such people, Janthis.

I figured with his time in the guildhall that Janthis would have seen something that could be used. Special clothing, armor, or maybe some kind of marking?

Wasn't it mentioned at some point that there are very few actual Hunters left? So the majority of what the Osokans are going to be sending at us are going to be strong, yes, but not really highly trained or disciplined or anything, more likely than not.
