USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Ushgarak372 pages

There is no time or opportunity for decision/debate.

Okay, so I made the decision, we are running up, with Stormtroopers behind me and delaying the pursuit. So Travis isn`t leading now?

And of course an Imperial Commisar does not a Comittee make, Ush... 😉

Lyle goes with it, following the Commissar closely.

EDIT- Zink

This is starting to look pretty hairy. Could Arvus and Rylis possibly borrow a shuttle and come down at the same time as the strike team?

I'd hope the strike team are already on their way!

'Borrow' a shuttle?

You guys are running like mad. The Osokans are pretty cruddy shots, really, but the flip side of it is that the stormtroopers' return fire seems, at best, to drive them off rather than kill them. And now more and more Osokans in the streets are taking up the hunt, joyfully.

You fight your way up onto one of the upper walkways, and now you are trapped on both sides of it. Without about twenty people left, cover behind a statue has become your last resort.

*Crosses fingers*

Where is that beloved Sniper in Disguise?

Meanwhile, communications in the naval area have started to flow.

All ships are ordered to alert condition red. Ulrand, Nidar orders your squadron to cover the assault shuttles into atmosphere, in case the Rebels attempt an interception.

Coll, you recieve a message from Atar which basically boils down to "It's on, make it work."

How are our injuries( I mean me, Travis and Lyle?)

"We must survive for few minutes, help will come soon! And those pigs have sealed their doom!" -Commisar shouts, desparately shooting from behind the remaining Stormtroopers. But the quickness with which they drop makes him very nervous.....

Can we collapse the statue somehow, Ush? Lyle has any charges left?

Indeed he does. That IS your cover though.

Damm it, we don`t really need a heroic last stand here...

It seems that we can defend ourselves for few minutes in this position? We certainly have no other option now, but to prey that Atar`s men will make it in time. They can be informed of our position through comms?

They'll see you up there from the air.

I know that Commisar isn`t exacly thinking about political situation right now..... But is Drakkon now officially Guildmaster since the Treaty was signed? But I think it doesn`t help him now.....

Oh, and Commisar is a bit surprised that Osokans have so many guns to fire at us. Doesn`t it give justification for all this illegal weapon smuggling issue we were trying to raise earlier, but without full sucess? And now those weapons are being used in riot against Imperial forces, and in attempt to murder Commisar! Our suspicions are confirmed. Now, since Drakkon is a loyal Imperial World leader, he should allow our troops to enter the city and disarm the population, as well as arrest all those assailants?

I think it's gone a bit beyond that.

Well, I just wanted to present my arguments to the Senate in the best way. Giving ultimatum to Drakkon seems like a good idea. Especially if this ultimatum equates immediate surrender from his point of view, since we will demand that he allows our armies in the city, since he is apparently unable to bring order himself. Then we can issue an arrest warrant for him, his former crimes notwithstanding.

Oh, and what about Galahad`s situation? He may be now taken hostage or something. If I get alive from this mess, informing the Senate that I am worried about his safety and trying to help him get away from Lanzar without harm may be a good move as well.

Hey, Commisar may be thinking about this right now, because he doesn`t want to focus on the fact that he may be death in a very short time. Making plans makes the prospect of death less apparent, since he has such a glorious future ahead in his New Order....

Ulrand will form up his squadron, ready to cover the shuttles.

Can Lyle see anything that might be able to help them out?

Coll smiles slightly when Atar sends him the message, unaware of what has happened.

"Gentlemen," Coll announces over the comlink to his Army. "We have obtained legal reason to be demolishing this City. Congratulations; you shall destroy unhindered by the political restraint of the Senate!"
