USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Lord Melkor372 pages

Well, Commisar is not supposed to personally plan military operations in detail, and I think that I will be sticking to it, though I have been giving orders and advice to "advance team" from the beginning, as they were indeed working under Commisar`s authority.

Well, if Drakkon is in Guild Hall at the time our forces get there, you will have to take it into account, Jaiden. I think that the entire importance of Guild Hall is that it is Guildmaster`s seat of power.... Taking him out of equation will be very helpful from the military perspective as well...

The thing is that I don't want Jaiden to get blamed by Vader. Vader would probably want Drakkon alive? But then again, Vader is that type of person who doesn't give a crap about negotiations...

We're supposed to take Drakkon alive, yes, but has been said before, that's pretty much a non-issue as Osokans are near-impossible to kill.

Well, the blame will be shared between Rylis, Lyle, Arvus, perhaps Janthis, Coll and Commisar as well, depending on how events unfold. It is hard to predict the exact situation, but we need some contigencies, and taking the Rebels into account.

Wait a second why is Janthis to blame he has done nothing wrong 😛

No way Lyle's getting any of this situation pinned on him.

Out of interest, would there be any feasibility in getting the strike team to move on from Melkor to the shield generators?

I have been talking about Drakkon capture in the future, not the current situation, Janthis and Lyle, so no need to get picky at this point. You will have your chance to shine, don`t worry.

The hell I'll be blamed for anything regarding Drakkon!

Well, if you are in charge of invading the city it is connected with Drakkon issue. Remember that without him the defenders will likely be quite less coordinated.

Besides, you should be planning, not worrying about the blame. Ideally, there should be no failure, and no reason to blame anyone. Fact that Commisar may give you to Vader if it doesn`t end well should only be an additional motivation..... 😄 We are all big Imperial loving family remember..... Commisar is your friend, and Emperor loves you all.

I know how I want to invade the City, and nothing has happened to change those plans thus far...

If Drakkon dies in the fighting, not quite my fault; if he decides to put himself amongst all the others that I will be stepping on, Coll is not going to really be able to tell from 25 meters up...

Well, I was going to mame a fight scene out of this, but far too much time has pased- need to make it up where I can. So we'll just be typing this one out.

So, your plan is to head outside, yes?

Yes, since I assume that it will be much easier for strike team to pick us from the street? Of course Commisar will listen to Travis and Lyle on this matter, but it seems quite obvious to me. We don`t have time for making plans anyway. And waiting for messages from Victorious or strike team.

Okey, i'm going on vacation in about an hour, and I won't be back until April 8th. Ush or anyone who wants to can control my charachter.

You reasoning seems impeccable, Melkor. travis is doing his best to cover you as you force your way outside.

Lyle, a charge up into the balcony is ineffective, really- but can you think of a better use of such a thing?

Commisar returns some of the fire while escaping, silently promising those Osokan idiots their soon and inevitable doom. What a worthless race, and to think that he was considering offering this Vortigen the position of Guildamaster! It seems that even harsher solutions will be necessary.

Lyle, perhaps you could put the charge behind us to delay the pursuers?

Ush, is Traviss or I injured yet?

Not yet.

Lyle, you reckon you could collapse the entire entrance. It's not a strong building.

Well, I shall do that.

Lyle uses one of his charges to collapse the entrance to the building, ensuring the Commissar is out safely before doing so.

Ok, you are outside.

There are some fifty troopers left. A bunch of Osokans are firing them from up above at all angles. But it's not just lodge members now. Members of the Osokan public are seeing the sport and joining in, wielding knives, or clubs, or whatever comes to hand.

Nothing can land here, in these dingy alleyways. You have the choice of trying to push your way through the streets- toight confined, maybe easy to lose pursuit but also more deadly if caught, and harder for friends to find you too.

Or you could go for some of the upper walkways- more freedom of movement, easier to be spotted. But a clearer target for Osokans to see you as well, and join in on the game.

Hmm, since our main hope is strike team, upper walkways seem more logical.... can I quickly ask Traviss what he thinks?

I don`t see where would we want to run through the streets....

Ok, I definately think it would be the best to run to upper walkways, using Stormtroopers to at least temporary block the passages. Even corpses can block the way.... And their death won`t be in vain if I escape with my life, of course. This is why I made speed my highest physical attribute.... And we can spot the shuttle from the highest walkaways? I think that Travis should agree with this reasoning.
