USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Will it not be better if we spread the commanders over the different groups thought?

Um...what? You're just two out of thousands of stormtrooper commanders leading 100-man companies, not the only only two. You're footsoldiers, not lower-ranking officers. Coll wants you heading in from his area.

Oh, well, okey. Can the Osokans shoot using their weapons behind the shields by the way?

Actually, that's a good question...

If they can, we will have a bit of trouble getting near the city.

Then we'll keep out of range.

Until the Army is circled up around the City, I mean. My bad.

One concern may be time- we want to take city in day, 2 at most, so bombardment will be brief, and killing wounded Osokans shouldn`t delay us too much- though it is better to take time finishing them rather then have them attack us from behind later....

The most important thing inside is to disorganize Osokans resistance- I assume it would be the primary goal of bombardment? Definately Lodge Captains should be primary targets, but I think that it is covered.

Oh, and you could mention again that at least 10+ people in every company have heavy weapons, as mentioned before, though perhaps it is standard in Imperial Army. Heavy weapons will be useful for eliminating Osokans gunners firing from the planks, as Janthis mentioned.

Earlier the use of e-web cannons was mentioned.

Well the approach Janthis using will be quite simple.

We are going to stay as far back from the Osokans as possible almost in a defensive manner. With 8 people carrying Rocket Launchers. 4 will be used to bust up any large groups of Oskans charging at us while another 4 will be kept in reserve to attack any ones with rifles on roofs. Everyone with standard gear will basically concentrate their fire on the Osokans in a cross fire type of action to maximize the amount of firepower located on them. I also plan on deploying mobile tripods to help. Once done with an area we will move on with 5 guys behind us whose sole purpose will be to cut the heads off to make sure they stay down.

Ush thinking about it further I want 4 of my guys with long range sniper rifles. Located to the rear of us. Their job will be simple shoot anyone that gets to close to the ranks as well as attacking any rifle pig left over on the roofs with rifles.

So Blast them in large groups and on the roofs
Put up a wall of laser fire.

If anything gets through head shots for the win.

So this is how our load out should look.

4: Sniper Rifle
8: Rockets
4(Assuming it takes two guys): For two laser tripods
5: Stay in the rear to cut off heads.
10: Using high powered laser rifles.
Everyone else: Gets basic repeater rifles.

Everyone gets Vibroblades and grenades.

If we have that much equipment than organization of the unit Janthis leads could be used as a model for others. Perhaps if we treat Janthis and Jaiden as Senior Commanders they can have more authority?

Ush, such tactics as above will be employed then?

You've got no vibroblades at all, and only two rockets and long range rifles per company. Stormtrooper infantry units work to a default model that is very rarely changed.

Okay, so from Commisar`s point of view Atar likes the plan Coll made and doesn`t want any changes?

Then ready, steady, go!

Ok then I can still get my 5 guys to get decently large cutting knives right.

I can work with two rockets and two long range rifles.

I can still use the one rocket to blast large groups and one to blast roofs.

Two long range snipers can get the job done.

Also what about the mobile tripods Ush?

Also Ush can I make a warfare roll to see how well this plan will work with what we know about the Osokans?

You have the tripods you asked for.

You think it should work so long as the shiled goes down. Else you'll never get enough firepower in to breach the walls and that's what you really need.

Ok the shield generator must go.

Will another Stormtrooper units get tripods as well? I understand that Coll is not supposed to micromanage down to company level, since the Imperial Army doesn`t work like this? What about grenades, how much we have?

And did Coll`s ally help with anything?

As for the three of us going after Drakkon...being as we won't know where he is, there's not really much in the way of real planning we can do. I would say that until the gates are opened, we should stay with Coll's group; once we can get inside the city, our first objective should be to make our way to the Guild Hall. He may not be there, but I still say that should be the first place we look. If Drakkon is not there, then we need to quickly make a search of the city to find him.

If not for the fact that just the three of us going to do it alone would be suicide (not to mention likely impossible), I'd be all for us sneaking in and sabotaging the shield generator.

Well, Commisar ordered Guild Hall to be observed from space., Rylis.

Ush, if Drakkon marches from the Guild Hall with his elite men, we would likely notice it? Then our men down can be informed...

You guys may just have to stay in the AT-AT with Coll until we can get to the Guild Hall

Basically, melkor, as it stands, nom you cannot detect the movement of individuals.
