USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Lana372 pages

And you should know very well we won't want to simply sit back and stay with the assault on the walls...

We join the fights at the following points-

The Stormtroopers have scaled the walls, which are now walkable- albeit slowly- due to the efforts of AT-AT fire. The first hundred are up where a wave of Osokans wielding knives and guns meets them. At the same time, using hidden passages in the walls, a smaller group of Osokans ambushes the troopers midway up.

At the raid, we are in the clearing where the artillery is. The Rebels have just arrived in their skiffs; Jaiden and Janthis, your men bar their way to the artillery. But the artillery is vulnerable and they will not take much to destroy.

You must delay them- soon other reacting Imperial forces will arrive.

ARTILLERY RAID

Rhys: 0/4

Scarlet: 0/2

Osokan Warriors x 50: 0/4

(Osokans are five to a skiff. Rhys and Scarlet are the sixth passengers on two skiffs. Skiffs are armed!)

Commander Jaiden: 0/3

Commander Janthis: 0/2

Jaiden's Troopers x 100: 0/4

Janthis' Troopers x 100: 0/4

Dodge any incoming shots, shoot with my Concussion Rifle Heavy Weapon at the skiff on which Scarlet is.

Janthis, I guess you should take on Rhys.

I will tell my troopers to focus their fire on the rebel aces if possible.

(Reminder that I have Eagle Eye and Heavy Weaponry Lvl)

"Okay, what to do, what to do..." Arvus says, nonchalantly, as he eyes the situation. He loads up his rail gun with a twisted grin, then takes aim at the Osokans appearing from secret passages, midway up the walls.

"Goodbye," he says, pulling the trigger to blow apart three of the damnable pigs. The rail charge flies forth with a chunk! and bursts...

Coll orders the AT-ATs and AT-STs to stand down, in order to not to hit our own stormtroopers.

"I'll give the order to open fire again," Coll says.

(Jaiden, Eagle Eye doesn't do anything with Heavy Weapons; only Big Guns, which Arvus has and is really scary with a rail gun...)

(Yeah, but just to remind Ush in further battle situations, since I'm expecting to switch to pistols if the skiffs get too close or my heavy weapon won't do much. I also ment Big Guns lvl 1, not Heavy Weaponry -.- )

(Ah, good point. Probably'll be good for shooting down the Osokans higher up the walls, from where you are.)

Janthis will shoot his grenade launcher at the Skiff Rhys is on and tell his other two men with the Rocket Launchers to do the same.

He will also tell his two men with Sniper rifles to target the pilots of the Skiffs closet to the front. Hoping that those spinning out of control will cause them to crash into the ones behind them or near them.

All his other men will be focused into three evenly grouped forces each on firing at the pilot of area of one Skiff.

So all in all in the first barrage I should be firing at a total of 5 Skiffs.
Me and Rocket launchers on Rhys
Two Snipers focused on the one closet to the front
Three Groups each firing at the pilots of the others.

Sound good guys?

I just need to query the request to dodge every shot- if you mean to actively dodge, then that will almost certainly mean you never move. if you mean passively dodge... you don't need to tell me that.

Arvus- that's a 'questionable' idea. You'll kill more troopers than pigs.

Sorry, got a bit carried away. I wanted to active dodge against the aces but now that I think of it, I would rather not.

Forgot to add the details on what my troopers would do.
All my rocket launchers on Scarlet
Snipers will fire on the pilots of the skiffs that are either closer or more comfortable to shoot at
The rest of the stormtroopers will organize into 3 groups, and aid Janthis's troops in taking out the other 3 skiffs.

Is there no formation I can tell my troops to make so we couldn't be penetrated or run over so the rebels can make a quick hit and run attack on our Artillery? Or are we already safe from being run over?

There are ten skiffs. Janthis has five targeted.

Yeah it would probably be better if you targeted the other five that way we at least have fire on all of them.

Snarf. I guess I'll save that for if the pigs start winning...

Arvus will prevent making himself a target with Kyle or Eerin, instead using his bowcaster to shoot down an Osokan emerging from the hallway area with a snapped attack.

Okay, so my current dilemma is do I want to attack pigs, or do I want to go after Kyle and Eerin...because unlike Arvus, Rylis is slightly less worried about making herself a target as she is better suited for fighting.

I believe Rylis will fire at Kyle with a standard attack; only active dodge if one of those two fire back.

If shooting at him isn't possible for whatever reason, then shoot at an Osokan coming from the hidden passages.

Damn it! Why the hell did I think that there are 25 osokans with 5 skfifs and 5 people on each one -.-

Yeah, let the 3 groups would fire onto the other 3 skiffs.

Firing from the base of the walls to the top of the walls is certainly at a penalty, though Eagle Eye will help if you have it.

Arvus- I was not necessarily ruling it out; if anyone is going to take that sort of action it is the Imperials. But I did feel I should warn you.

As some speed is required, actions will be processed at the end of the day regardless of posters.

If my heavy weapon hits the skiff, shouldn't it atleast stop the skiff, destroy it, or maybe atleast cause the people on the skiff to fall over?

You would think so.

I've got Eagle Eye at level 2, so that should help with the penalty.

Or I could go with Rex's suggestion he made to me last night and jetpack my way up 😛

Flashy!
