Shooting in mid-air? Hell yes it is!

Well, make sure you mind is made up by end of play today.

You would think so.

Alright, so if making a perfect hit with my heavy weapon will destroy the skiff and harm everyone on it, I think I should use some of my "Luck" on it.

I don't want to risk with these rebels, they would probably want to quickly take down the artillery and flee, and that is possible if we didn't stop them in time.

I'll hit Scarlet's skiff with my heavy weapon, and use up to 2 rerolls using my Tie "Lucky" if I have to, in order to score a perfect hit to destroy the skiff.

I've got a hell lot of fortune anyway , so why not spend it. I want to finisht his fight really fast, because this could be a disaster for the Empire.... Which means Vader would sure kill me and Janthis without a single thought.

There ARE 25 Osokans on 5 skiffs, 5 people each. 😛

Blow them away!

Yeah, I think I'm going to fly up to the top with my jetpack while firing at Kyle...may as well have fun with this!

The troopers are already blocking access; the Rebels will have to punch a hole through.

Ok, here goes!

As the skiffs race in, Scarlet gets behind the skiff gun and unloads a barrage of fire at Janthis' stormtrooper group, taking down four of them.

Janthis is wielding a grenade launcher. He's firing at one of the skiffs! But with a a skill of 8, rolling a ten is not enough; a blast rocks the skiffs but does no more.

Commander Jaiden has a similar idea, aiming a concussion rifle shot at a skiff. He rolls a 10 but then improves that with a Fortune spend, and with a skill of 11 that is a hit!

(Scarlet, that's your Skiff- maybe you should have taken the wheel...)

Scarlet rolls a 12 on her acrobatics roll to get clear as the skiff blows... made it!

Rhys is gunning at Janthis's troopers also; another four fall.

We then have a vicious exhange of fire between the skiffs and the troopers, which ends with troopers dead and two skiffs downed.

At the walls...

Arvus, down below, is sniping away at Osokans at the middle.

Eerin charges forwards to take on enemy troopers! Three of them fall quickly.

Rylis then surprises the rebels somewhat by activating her jetpack and flying up to the top of the engagement! She opens fire on Kyle- and a 12 is a hit!

Kyle, meanwhile, was covering Eerin against troopers when that happened.

Watch your frames, folks.

Note that for speed purporses atttacks on mooks are receiving a generic 'good' result instead of dice rolling. Having wounded mooks around is a pain when fighting on this scale.

Stupid recoil.

Jaiden will aim his concussion rifle at Rhys's skiff, and pulls the trigger.
I will use one more reroll using my tie "Lucky" if I have to in order to get the skiff down.

Janthis, since I got alot of fortune to spend, I'll take down Rhys's skiff and you try to take down one of the other osokan skiffs.

I will order my troopers to all fire on the remaining skiffs except Rhys's. If I can I will also order my troopers to spread a little bit thinner in order to fill in the gaps in Janthis's "Stormtrooper Wall."

Arvus will snipe three Osokans in the middle with three super-snapped shots.

(Man I was hoping that my other two rocket launchers would help oh well)

Janthis sees what Jaiden is doing and turns toward one of the skiffs and opens fire. He will also tell his two snipers now to fire at the Osokans that are three turns away. Making sure to move them to the back of the line and out of fire from the Skiffs.

Since my two Rocket launcher guys aren't helping with taking down Skiffs I'm shooting I'll have them help back up the other troopers by firing on Skiffs I'm not firing on.

Rylis will land on top of the wall and again fire at Kyle. Active Dodge only if he or the bug shoot at me.

Scarlet races forwards, both guns firing. She takes down one of jaiden's troopers and also takes a shot at Jaiden himself. She rolls an 11- fair shot, but Jaiden dodges and it misses.

Rhys continues firing as his skiff closes. That's the last thing he manages on that Skiff, though, before Jaiden blows that one clear as well, though he has to use all his re-rolls from 'Lucky' to do it.

Jaiden- who said those heavy weapons were having no effect? Those skiffs didn't just blow up on their own you know. Your orders are unclear as to what you are firing; I can only repeat what you did last turn and that misses again.

The two trooper groups consolidate to fill the gaps. However this reduces their fighting effectiveness this turn and only one further skiff is destroyed.

The five remaining skiffs have now reached the trooper lines, at high speed! Interesting to see what happens next.

At the wall...

Kyle spins and pulls off an amazingly fast snapshot at Rylis with a different weapon, not blinking an eyelid. It NEARLY hits but Rylis makes a dodge, jinking with her jetpac as she comes into land at the wall's edge. Rylis rolls a 20 when she fires back! She's on form!

Arvus makes a bit of a mess of things, trying to super-snap a weapon with a reload time. Other than a rocket launcher there cannot be a weapon less suited to that. I won't waste his frames, but as the roll was not great either his attack goes nowhere.

Eerin fights on, though as with his Osokan comrades he's going to get a little battered in such a fight, as he swats away more troopers.

The mass fights continue, though now the troopers are starting to get moving up again.

Bah, oh well.

Arvus will snap a shot at another Osokan midway.

Rylis will fire again at Kyle, rather determined to get him now. Active Dodge only if he attacks.

And if there's anything up here I can use for any sort of cover, I'd like to use it.

You ment it was unclear what Janthis said, right?

I think he wanted to fire on the other skiffs than Rhys's.

As the skiffs close in, Jaiden will do the following

1) If this will not hurt Jaiden or his troopers he will fire his concussion rifle at the nearest skiff.

2) If the concussion rifle would hurt Jaiden's or Janthis's troopers or Jaiden himself, he would flick his wrist and let a yellow flame roar from his flamer onto the nearest skiff, aiming for the driver but also trying to catch everyone on the skiff on fire.

3) If the skiffs are too far away for my flamer, and my heavy weapon would hurt friendly troopers or myself, Jaiden would drop concussion rifle and take out his2 light pistols, double firing with eacy one with Eagle Eye and BgB lvl 2 at the nearest skiff, aiming for the Osokan Pilot and the Osokan who is arming the skiff gun.

Also, I'll Active Dodge Rhys.

Didn`t Janthis get tripods for his company, by the way?

I did mean him, yes, sorry.

You could possibly flame a skiff but they are moving so fast that the effect would likely not be great. Heavy Weapons would put friendlies at risk, yes.

-

No cover up on the open wall I am afraid. You could move over to the stormtrooper melee.

Cover of bodies, hehe...

Nah, I should be good.

Yeah I meant I was firing at a different skiff then the one Jaiden was firing on.

And I did get Tripods didn't I.

Ush can I still get those deployed or is it too late.

Either way Janthis will drop his Grenade launcher and take out his heavy pistol and take aim at a Skiff Pilot.

I will now have my Snipers begin to target Scarlet.

Everything else is the same.

Say... I can't do anything like jump on a skiff, can I? Or is that my Jedi side 😮

Active dodge Rhys, take out two light pistols and double fire on the Osokan pilot only.

If you kill the Osokan Pilot, shouldn't the skiff go "Out of Control" and crash? I don't think other Osokans would be fast enough to react and take control of the week.

Jaiden will be firing on the Osokan pilot that is not the one that Janthis is firing at.

Can our troopers deploy grenades at such a time?

Grenades would do nothing against fast-moving vehicles.

I'd tell your men to get out of the way or they'll be run over.
