USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Newjak372 pages

Janthis sees the Osokans coming holds up his hand and orders the troopers around him to form up into lines and prepare to take the charge.

He also tells his rocket guys to pull into the third lines and he tells them their job is to fire at any more logs rolling down the pits and blow it into bits.

Janthis wants the snipers focusing on the back lines of the Osokans if the can if not then fire at the center of their lines.

He will make a leadership roll to accomplish this organization if he needs to.

"GET READY MEN WE CAN NOT GET DRIVEN BACK ANYMORE," Janthis bellows as he hands out his orders.

Another shot at Drakkon for Jaiden. He'll shout orders to the stormtroopes at the base to hurry up.

Coll will continue organizing his forces from the base of the structure, ushering his men up the steep steps.

Arvus will take this turn to swap to his railgun, if he can shoot up to the top of the pyramid where Drakkon is. His target will be Kyle.

If he cannot, he will shoot his bowcaster at Kyle.

Didn't realise I hadn't arrived. Lyle shoots at Eerin when he does, though.

Shoot Eerin and dodge 1 attack, preferably Kyle if he shoots at me because I have a feeling he's the most annoying of them.

The fight goes on. Drakkon's early tactics nearly halted the first Imperial attack, but the Rebels have not been able to stop Imperial organisation. Janthis and Coll have stabilised the Imperial situation and are bringing up more men.

Massed fire at Rylis continues. she makes a well-placed dodge on one of the two shots that would have found its target. Rylis herself, acting for the first time in a while, fires at Kyle, but to no effect.

Eerin takes a rocket launcher shot at Janthis and the men near him, but completely misses. Heavy weapon exchange is going to becomer common, it seems- Arvus changes to his railgun.

Lyle arrives in the fight and opens fire at Kyle, missing by a whisker.

Finally, Jaiden fires at Drakkon again. This time he scores a pretty good hit, landing just a foot away from the pig himself, who is blown off of his feet.

Shortly afterwards there is a loud ching! noise near the base of the pyramid, as may be made by, say, a knife penetrating stormtrooper armor. Jaiden, there is a knife sticking out of your shoulder.

Um, what actually happened with us?

Picky!

Hey, I said I was shooting Eerin, not Kyle!

Well you missed anyway! They probably thought you were firing at him, 'twas such a miss.

Hmph!

Well, Rylis will fire at Eerin and again dodge one attack from a Rebel (again preferably Kyle).

You're kidding me? A knife?

Jaiden feels an impact to his shoulder, not even feeling the pain from all the adrenaline pumping through his body. "What the?" exclaims Jaiden noticing the knife.

Jaiden will take a shot at Drakkon again, and he will also try to identify whoever threw that knife at him.

Osokans fight using knives, Jaiden... and if I assume correctly, you are facing the second most dangerous Osokan after Drakkon.

Yeah, but throwing a knife at the distance of lasers/rocket launchers and hitting the target at the same time? That's preety impressive seeing as the nearest Osokan near me is a normal one halfway up.

Well, nearest one that we know of, anyway...um.

Janthis sees the huge swarm of Osokans barring down on him like a flood. He knows he must hold until more people get up to the pyramid to reinforce their position.

Janthis makes leadership roll to make sure his men are in tight formation. Even though rockets are firing at us. He tell his men to open fire a the center of the horde hopefully to scatter the Osokans into two smaller groups.

Coll, seeing that the Osokans are quickly outnumbering his forces on the pyramid, resolves to get as many stormtroopers up onto the structure as possible.

A retreat back to the base may be favorable, but would only lead to a stalemate as the Osokans would likely not throw themselves against such odds when they are currently in a strategically superior position.

Coll will organize his men, to ensure that the maximum number of troops move up to fight the Osokans.

Arvus sends a rail whistling up into the mass of Osokans pressuring Janthis and his troops.

On we go. Apologies that Osokan numbers were over-represented last turn, though I would hope people keeping track of the battle would have spotted that 100 extra Osokans could not just materialise.

Janthis is forming tight lines of the troopers so that they are not isolated and overwhelmed by the attacking Osokans. This suits Drakkon who unleashes another log this turn that polows through the tight lines with extreme ease; he specifically makes sure it does not go towards the area where orange-shouldered commander who is doing the organising may have tried to do something about it.

Coll is organising his men bravely; certainly bravely as one of Eerin's rocket shots lands very close to him, killing a few troopers as well.

The focus of Rebel fire changes. Cass and Rhys fire at Arvus. Not a good shooting round for either of them though. Meanwhile, Kyle is still blasting at Rylis, with some success.

Rylis is still short on frames, whilst Arvus railguns up into the troops attacking Janthis' men. He kills an Osokan, but he kills a couple of troopers as well.

Jaiden is concerned by the ridiculous knife throw, and indeed it is ridiculous, requiring as it does a Strength of 10 to propel that far and a combat score of, oh, say, 15. Still, you cna worry about that later. Your shoulder is going numb- the blade is poisoned.

The STs are firing with far ferwe target sthis turn and don't kill anyone. But the structure has taken a lot of hits now; a great crack forms on its west side.
