USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Ushgarak372 pages

Ok, what is your plan to check on the three ships?

A Commander pretty much only has his armour as uniform. Besides which, Imperial doctrine is clear- you show strength at all times. Senior officers and definitely the Commissar should be backed with troops.

There will be your full 100 stormies with you, Jaiden.

Yay, I get to keep my armor and my troopers!

I'm beginning to think I should go with my Galder instinct rather than try to play General...

In that case, with the armored Commander and his troopers in tow, General Coll is ready for Lanzar. Yipee-kai-yay, pigs.

Trebeis will remain aboard the Deviator.

As for the Ships, Would it be too much to launch the TIEs and have them "Escourt" The Freighters back to the Deviator? Ush, Melkor?

Um, what freighters? The ones that we are letting land?

Indeed. And if you stop them doing what they are doing, then that is enforcing a blockade.

Well, the mini-convoy of one shuttle and one troops transport are in the hangar ready to leave now. Transit to Lanzar begins!

Melkor listens to Tarkin`s advice once again as the shuttle apraches Lanzar, and invites his Aide to join him:

"What do you think about this advice, Sareitha? It seems that we must be subtle in order to distrupt the elaborate net Andran apparently weaved. I will try to speak with the other Senators separately, perhaps they will see the benefit of getting into Emperor`s good graces, most of them don`t have such spine as Andran anyway. And Drakkon.... I will allude that Emperor is the leader of the Senate, and he has to accept the peace.... I must try to break the trust between Drakkon and the old Senator."

As for recognizing Rebels, I thought that maybe Rylis might be able to recognize them, or at least one or two....oh well. However, the Osokans know our intentions aren't quite peaceful, which means they were tipped off, and only Rebels could do that.

I'm curious about those ships, though. I think that maybe one or two of us should stick around here while they land and see if we can figure out who they are and why they're here.

Your aide actually thinks it will be a much better idea for her to remain aboard.

"Who else is going to tell you if Nidar tries something?" she says.

"Indeed, you are right, I know that you are a good observer, inform me if Nidar does something suspicious."

So no way she could provide me with overhearing device I can try to plant somewhere?

She could, but she would warn that the Senate might have anti-security procedures.

"See if one of your Agents can manage something; they might see the weak points."

Yeah, Maybe the Agents should try to find a way to shut down the shields while we're at the meeting.

The shields aren't a worry right now. We're not attacking yet. The way the shields will be shut down when we are is that I'm going to have it obliterated from the face of the planet. Big fiery blast of incinerating flames, and the shield goes down.

General Coll will secure his Imperial standard issue blaster to his belt, should anything go amiss, and that is all he requires.

Are we waiting on the Rebels or do the Agents need to give the final say?

I'm just waiting a tad on the Rebs.

Perhaps until we get more orders we should stick together. Also means that if the people coming off the ship split up, we can tail them.

Vlad > We can't do anything about the shield.

Melkor > Do you want any of us to try and listen in on the Senate?

I would vote for a split up, but since Dubya dropped out, we only have one Agent. Still, I do want to see what those ships are about.

Yes, you know Ush would not put them in there if they were only carrying Taun-Taun skin Lampshades.

Not just that, any ship coming to a planet under these circumstances is suspicious. Especially in convoy.

Spying on the Senate could be useful, but you would need to be extremally careful
