"What other information have you heard?" The Captain inquires of Rhodes.

"Nothing at all," says Rhodes. "It must be some business of Nidar's. Maybe Captain Jarek knows more? Nidar is hardly taking you into his confidence."

"Then feel free to speak freely," says Atar, "and tell me what is on your mind."

"Ah, Senator," says Andran, "glad you could join us!"

Senator Galahad has just entered the room, Melkor, making him the next most senior person present after Andran (not counting Imperials, of course).

"My concern sir that I feel we are being careless with this mission a little sir. I know that everyone here is worth their merit and has proven so a thousand times over," Janthis continues, "I have fought and fought alongside similar creatures in the wookies sir." Pausing for effect, "I've seen a Wookie take on a dozen droids unarmed he tore them to pieces before falling to his wounds these primitives I feel should not warrant underestimation sir".
"Our men will need to be as focused as ever and this keeping on alert putting some vessels on high alert without reason given and the political battle only serves to take away focus sir."

"I see," says Atar. "And what would you prefer to happen, Commander? In an ideal situation?"

"Im ideal situation sir we could lure into an open field combat situation where we can use superior numbers and firepower to overwhelm them. Say fighting them in the streets with rested men air support without hinderence from politics, but we both know ideal events rarely happen although I will say this the sooner we can get our troops on the ground moving the less time they have to dig in. I don trust this agreement I feel something is wrong."

"The sooner we can get our troops on the ground the better, you say? Regardless of political interference?"

"well it would make me feel better knowing we have some chance to take them on before they can get really dug into the buildings sir but I just follow the orders I'm given and deal with the holes in them later"
"Sir since we are speaking freely what is your take on this?"

"Never mind my take on this," says Atar. "Commander?"

Travis steps forwards and hands you a datapad. You see his unblinking eyes, sizing you up.

"This pad shows a location to the North of the city. It is a clearing in the jungle some 80 square miles large, though the boundaries are not even. Approximate time to bring forces from there to the city would be about 18 hours."

Taking the pad from Travis
"I see sir"
Looking down at the data pad, "What is it you would like me to do with this sir?"

"Keep it," says Atar.

"Return to your ship, Commander. Then, take a landing transport, and take yourself and your men down to that location. Secure it, and the report back to the taskforce. Make no other communications. There are Rebels on Lanzar and they are notorious for signal intercepts."

"Very well sir"
Janthis salutes then leaves.
He is a little unsettled about this mission but he is a soldier and does as told.
Back aboard the Deviator Janthis tells Trebisis what his orders are and that he shall be departing now with his men.

(I don't like this...the staff of the Victorious are planning to take us all down so they can rise, I know it...)

"Glad you could join us, indeed," General Coll says, giving Galahad a reproachful look. "You could have just come up with us, you know."

(I don't like it either, they can ruin our situation here.)

(I know what you mean)
Janthis looks at his troops, "Ok men our mission is simple we are to secure an 80 square mile perimeter. When we land we will spread into four sectors at four points everyone maintains constant communication. No one goes out of sight of antone else hear me remember those partners you've been paired with. Look at this way men besides those babysitters down there we're the first. Lets move men."
Janthis hops into the transport after all his men get in.

"Very good, Lieutenant Commander. Now, go see off Commander Janthis. Send him my best wishes."

Ush, Trebeis would like to try to get some information out of Captain Jarek.

(We should probably be in touch with the Revenge, see if they're plotting anything malicious as well...)

(Everyone is against the good Men of the Deviator )

You'll arrive down there at the start of the next hour, Janthis.

-

Eerin is indicating that you wouldn't be able to hurt him, Rylis.

-

"Captain Trebeis," says Jarek's holographic form. He looks good as a hologram; it seems to cover up some of his emerging wrinkles. "Is there some problem?"

Ush, I shall ignore Galahad for now and talk to some lesser staff to discover the names of all Senators that are observers. Can I recognize any name ? I would also ask about the offices of other Comitte Senators, in worst case I will talk with the secretaries.

Wouldn`t it be insulting if I don`t meet with Drakkon now?

What are the rebels doing? Since they're here, I assume they haven't just left...

Where can I get to, relatively unseen? And does my dress fit with that of the labourers (unless they ain't human).

It would certainly be odd if you didn't see Drakkon, Melkor.

But Andran doesn't want you disrupting anyone's work.

-

Well, one of them is out looking for your buddy, and the other seems to be trying to talk to an Osokan.

No-one else down there is Human.
