Damn... You're back!

Well, Stirge, Lyle, Rylis and Arvus are on the planet, having been sent ahead of the taskforce. We did a bit of asking about, and then these rebel (we think) ships arrived. So we were trying to sneak into the dock, but the rebel characters arrived. Take a look at the conversation thread to see how that worked out. Anyway, now I'm trying to think of a way to get to the crates being unloaded from the ships...

Any ideas?

Oh, the other guys have landed the army on the planet and Darth Vader is in orbit with the star destroyers. 😉

So, just how much would Andran be irked at Vader being present, judged from his reaction and by common knowledge of Vader's reputation?

He'll be thinking the same thing you are, vis a vis why the bloody hell the Emperor wants to involve Vader, of all people.

The landing continues. Ships are pouring out men, thousands of them, and they are being assigned to billets, sentry duties, temporary canteens.

But still thousands more are to come, and walkers, and bikes. It all takes a long time.

For COmmander Janthis, none of this is his concern any more. He is leasing the first aggressive mission on Lanzar property- albeit not against Osokans yet.

Just five minutes into the perimiter of the jungle is enough to make you think the clearing no longer exists, Janthis. This is true jungle. It;s not like the forests you have seen before. it is thick, dirty, smelly. The tree canopy so extensive that large parts of it are pitch balck. There is life EVERYWHERE, squawking, chattering, moving, dying; your senses for combat are totally upset by the endless movement all around.

But you have found your first body. One of your men has been torn into tiny pieces. Not nice.

At the starport, the unloading operation has finished; the freighters are re-fuelling. The crates don't actually seem to be going anywhere, however.

Meanwhile, up on the task force, the Commissar wants another visit to the surface. What is the plan?

General Coll wouldn't be against joining the Commissar in another surface venture. Perhaps we can take my personal shuttle this time?
