"I am surprised that you don`t already know an answer to this question, as one of the greatest minds of the Senate, not to mention the most experienced one."

Try to observe what the Rebels are doing, Advance Team.

So do you want all three of us watching them? I think we should have one person try and find out what those other ships are bringing in.

I think it would be good to get into these ships, especially. At least find out what they're carrying.

Melkor, I know I'm not the diplomat, but I'd just tell him. Gloating is all well and good, but you're walking the line between war and 'training exercises'.

Indeed, you could check the ships. Lyle could observe the Rebels, as they don`t recognize him, currently.

Later on, it wil be important to take Drakkon alive.

"That I am," says Andran, "but I am not psychic. Why are those troops here, Commissar? Or do I have to make this official?"

"We are only performing a little maneuvres, Senator. Emergency laws that are in force for the last 15 years allow it. I am sure you will gladly inform Drakkon about it, and explain that he has to accept such presence after all."

Did I manage to irritiate him greatly?

Hard to tell over comms. He seems unflappable.

"Military manoeuvres? That seems to be a disturbing coincidence, that they just happen to be here, and now."

"Well, the planet is suitable for it, considering the low population level and dangerous environment to test our soldiers. And if you believe in coincidences with such matters, all better for you. What matters is that military command had legal right to make such decision."

"Was this your idea, Commissar?" asks Andran.

OOC: Lord Vader would likely not be pleased if I reveal his presence, right?

"Does it matter? Perhaps you wish to compliment me?"

Must be said, Vader is not a subtle man.

"Because I will need to know who is legally responsible when I have all this shut down."

OOC: But my instincts tell me that he wouldn`t like to reveal himself now, right? He could answer the call himself.

"It was the idea of Commodore Nidar, if you insist."

Therefore if Andran makes trouble, Commodore will be the first one to bear consequences, right? 😈 I like it.

"Then I want to speak with Commodore Nidar."

And no, your instincts are not saying anything.

"He is currently busy, you can speak with me about your concerns."

OOC: If he didn`t allow me to speak with other members of the Senate Mission, I can treat him in the same way, right?

Sure you can, so long as you know what you are doing.

"Well, if you are not going to give him a chance to speak in his defence, I will have to lodge my complaint immediately with Imperial Command," says Andran.

"On what basis, Senator?"

"On the basis that I do not believe Command has issued any such orders for a training exercise. I will wish for them to explain the Commodore's justification."

Hmm, so Nidar wasn`t allowed to issue such orders, but Vader was? But Imperial Command will likely cover Commodore, right?

Oh, Nidar IS allowed (as are you), but he'd have to clear it with Command. It would, of course, be much more convenient all around if Vader informed Command, but he simply won't have bothered.

Command will have no idea what Andran is talking about.
