(Janthis, dodge! You're in combat!)

Hmm. Would it be possible for General Coll to just take his leave and go walk about Lanzar City to look about? He wants to try and get a look at the direction he intends for the soldiers to approach from.

Well I will out dodge on but I was wondering if my other troopers were firing first was all.

Doesn't sound like it. I'm guessing that you and the raptor are the fastest beings in the area, and they'll fire after you evade.

Thats great I told the people it was probably just animal attacks oh well what you gonna do.

Well, they are stormtroopers... 😗

Have confidence in your soldiers, General! 😛

Arvus will take up a position, preferably in a crowd or something, where he can watch our friends the smugglers....

The problem, Janthis, is that they can only form a circle in the clearing behind you, which is where they are heading. A circle of a hundred men (well, less now) in the narrow, twisty jungle tracks is impossible.

And indeed, it is this dense growth that is the main problem. Men are slowed down, twisting, tripping even...

Your men are beiung a little slow to react but group firepower will come into the situation. However, you can shoot again before the Raptor jumps you.

However, you are aware of a certain amount of commotion behind you as well.

---

Your social skills are enough to find someone who knows Osokan, Melkor. Begging your Impeiral pardon very highly, however, he would like something in lieu of simple payment for his services.

---

Arvus and co- is the Imperial thread of the opinion it is ready to go ahead with the starport situation? The Rebels players are waiting.

Oh so I'm actually out of the clearing I'm sorry I never intended to leave it but whatever.
This sounds good I'm going to look behind me and see whats happening.

Well, you rushed towards the sounds which were back in the jungle, see.

If you look behind, then the Raptor will get to close combat range before you fire again.

(Yes, war is hell)

Yes it is well the clearing is behind me and I have men around me( I hope)
So I'm going to look behind me.

There ARE some men with you, yes, but it is you it is going for.

I will fire at the on coming dinosaur hoping to take him down.

General Coll will take the required payment for the guide and give him the credits.

"Here's your money," Coll says, contemptuously.

He is actually rather definitvely not asking for money. That was the point.

"And what kind of payment do you have in mind?"

OOC note: I really don`t have a cohesive plan yet. I am simply trying to gather information in order to find weakness in the deal Andran made with Drakkon, and the weaknesses of Drakkon.

General Coll will place his credits back in his purse, then, and also inquire what it is this fellow wants, and his name.

I'm going to go ahead and say that I think we're set. All I want to do is track their position, see what they're up to, and possibly call in the Commissar or the General to investigate.

In fact, Arvus will comlink to General Coll, presuming I know he's on planet and that I've been kept updated by someone, and alert him to the fact that there is a convoy of Osokans (with our smuggler friends as well) carrying numerous crates out of the starport.

Oh, I know you are all set, but it is whether you are physically ready. A delay was requested.

-

Well, the guy in question talks about how it is with admin and traffic control on these worlds- you know, primitives like these, no idea of good government, surprised they can even make fire, ha ha- and he's been delayed in moving on.

He'd really appreciate it if you guys could sort out the paperwork or provide some permit for him to leave immediately after he is done helping you.

-

(carrying on with you soon, Janthis)

General Coll smirks slightly at his attempts at a joke about the Osokans.

"What, exactly, seems to be the problem?"

Well, Lana and I are fully available. I saw Trick on, I dunno if he's ready, though. I'll ask him next time I see him on here.

Ok, looks like I'll start that up soon then.

He doesn't elaborate any more than that, Coll. He just wants you guys to sign something saying he can leave.
