X-Men Roleplay

The figure stopped moving so that his cloaking would stabalize and be clearly invisble. All went silent for several seconds, untill the sound of the camera turning to focus in on Shatter. A middle aged white man stood behind one of the shipping containers just out of sight. He began clapping audibly.

Scott nodded and opened the door to the building
"come on lets move"

Spiderman looked up quickly and turned towards a building across the road. He jumped up and shot out a web, it attached to another one and he swung over to it. He opened the door and their was a man and child sitting in a corner looking scared

"Hey Logan come check this out"

=Logan watched where Spiderman went and followed when he requested. Upon seeing the man and child Logan retracted his Claws and looked around real fast before looking to the man=

Hey bub are you alright?

=Bobby stepped into the building first. If he was hit he would just end up reforming, he might be out for an hour or so if something like that happened but at least they would all be alive still and know where the enemy, if any in the building, were coming from.=

The man and his son were backed into a corner surrounded by four Prime Sentinels and they were about to get be killed or turned into one of them. Either way they were both doomed. The father tried to protect his son, but his lack of an offensive mutant ability left him out of options. He shielded his son as they were both crying and awaiting their fate.

Shatter's form straightened as soon as she caught the clapping, her brow furrowed under the rim of the cap and she glanced at the camera that now faced directly at her. She didn't say a word, something felt seriously wrong about this place but strangely familiar.

=Logans claws flew out. He knew the man was a mutant and that the four obviously wanted to cause him and his son harm. Not knowing if the four seemingly humans before him were the cause or not he ran up behind the closest one and jabbed all his claws into its back, letting out a fierce roar. He wasnt going to let anyone kill a mutant.=

~Seeing Iceman 'turn on' his power she too summoned minerals from the earth below them and soon a trail was leading upwards to form upon her into a hardened armor. She then followed them inside to see what was going on.~ So we just have to get downstairs? Is there a basement door leading to the sewers? Will there be someone waiting for us? `She asked looking to Cyclops.~

~Mystique walked in with Kelly and looked around. Up, Down, Left, Right. She didnt see anything at the moment.~ doesnt look like getting down will be much trouble. then again we are only just begining.

The Gates opened and the camera flashes as it took a still image of Shatter. The man didn't leave his spot but called out to her from where he was

"Come on in Ms. Buroughs, i'm surprised you came so soon"

Scott walked in after them and started to look around

"if anything is here, we'll see it on one of the other floors. But yea the entrance to the sewers is down in the basement"

Shatter's brow furrowed even further as a voice called out, she looked around and saw no one else but the guard. She called back, still unsure about this place.

"Who me?"

Emma stepped in and quickly glanced about them, making sure they weren't in any immediate danger. She nodded, once content with their safety, and continued in. "Stick together. Splitting up could cost your life."

The man began to luagh loudly as he walked out into the open and bowed a little towards Shatter.

"A man from your past"

Shatter's features remained crumpled as she looked at the man, again, he seemed just as familiar as this place... but she couldn't remember why. She didn't move from her car and tilted her head slightly before yelling back.

"How do I know if you're telling the truth?"

The man smiled and his guard uncloaked himself, he was a large man completly covered in a type of body armor. The man in the suit then shrugged

"well you are her arn't you? So come on, or we'll make you"

Shatter completely stepped out of her car and spoke directly at the man who was addressing her.

"I don't know anyone by the name of Buroughs... and I wont let you do anything to me that I don't wanna happen... I don't know you people, and if you're the one's who did this to me, you know full well what I'm capable of."

He shook his head slowly and looked over to his armored guard

"Come now, all we will be fine once we take you back to you're true home. But if you refuse we will be forced to take drastic measures and might not be able to return you in good condition"

Shatter shook her head.

"Look... I don't know you, I don't know anything barr what's happened to me in the last three years... so I'm not going anywhere until you prove that you know me and that you're atleast one of the people that I'm looking for..."

Her tone was terse but not menacing at all. Her breathing started to quicken slightly however and she made sure that she kept her wits about her. Her hint about this place was definately corred, something wasn't right here.

The man turned around and pressed a few buttons on the control panel, once he did part of the sea seemed to move apart as a metal tube seemed to rise.

"You Miss Buroughs are one of our projects and we intend to get you back, now folow me or my friend here will take you"

Spiderman gasped and quickly shot out a web onto logan's arms and pulled him out of the sentinal.

"What's wrong with you, we cant just go killing everyone. These appear to be humans and if so we have to see if we can get info from them"

Scott and the others continued walking down the stairway when some runnig footsteps were head coming from the floor below them. The lights cut out and it went completly black, Scott stopped and ducked down as the stairwell began to get fired apon rapidly by adamantium bullets.

"Well there go the hostiles"

Emma cursed under her breath and crouched down, keeping her body pressed against the nearest wall. "Cover your ears!" She closed her eyes, she was already blind so she needed to be careful, and sent a Psionic blast of energy down the stairwell.

The sentinel's back arched once it got stabbed but quickly began regenerating once Spider-Man forced Wolverine's claws out. It and the other three slowly turned around and analyzed their opponent. They all spoke in unison.

"Target hostile identified. Mutant Wolverine."

The Sentinels began their attack on Wolverine while ignoring Spider-Man.

There was a loud groan and the bullets stopped coming, but footsteps could still be heard only they seemed farther away. Scott stood back up and looked in the the direction that emma was in, even though he could really see her

"Great job emma, I thank you more properly but i can't see. But now we need to get some lights on"

Emma sighed and pushed herself to her feet. "Well I'd help with that too but Im kinda lacking in that area of expertiese. Any one got a light?"
