Phantom Miria
Queen of Feuds
For every impact that Emma suffered, she flinched in pain. Vulcan and Terrax had arrived sooner than expected, leaving Emma to rush her plan through. Fortunately soon enough Jean was blasted away and this gave Emma the opening that she needed. She dug deep into the mind of that shapeshifter Rei, grasped her memories revolving their private meeting with Gladiator and removed the part where Gladiator suggested she would betray the X-Men. This action could hurt some for Rei, but Emma would have to apologize later, when everything was over, assuming the child lived that long. She just could not afford having her spilling the facts and blowing Emma's cover, even for the X-Men. No, she did not trust the X-Men, even with a plan that benefited them. Once the particular memory was cleaned out of Rei's mind, at the cost of some minor mental pain for the poor child, Emma rose to her feet.
"Lets try this" Emma calmly said as she attained Diamond form, took a step forward and with a single, fierce blow she punched Jean straight in the stomach, sending her flying backwards due to the sheer strength that her Diamond form provided. Jean in question was sent flying into who Emma would define as poor Rahne, had she not been in her Diamond form and Emma stood tall, analyzing the battle "Afraid your parlor tricks are no longer amusing, Jean. Out of date, second rate, little girl. What fools in their right senses would try fight Vulcan and Terrax at our current state? Let me pontificate. We have an emotional woman, an inexperienced child, a second rate telepath, a Wolverine that doesn't think further than his nose reaches and a leader that could fall asleep at any time. Then there is me, the one who claimed we had nothing to gain from searching this dump, only to end up right when a Thanosi threw us around for a time and wasted our time"
Emma turned, still in her Diamond form and looked over at Vulcan "I am always on the winning side. When I am not, or can not, I happily settle with just not being on the loser side" Emma then faced the X-Men again "In the future, should we live that long, feel free to call me Ex-Member in place of X-Man. Good luck, X-Men. Not that it will help you against those two" Emma commented and nodded with her head towards Vulcan and Terrax, before sitting down on a pile of Kree corpses and observed the rest.

Tempo hid in the distance, silently just laid there. She had slowed herself down so that not even her breathing could be noticed by Gladiator. She laid flat under a corpse from the battle, out of plain sight for anyone passing by. She felt it was perhaps a little excessive, but better be safe than sorry. Gladiator could beat her up good without ever really trying and all she could hope in a one on one was to survive a few extra minutes. No, she rather waited. Waited for Vulcan and Terrax to do all the pounding while she vaguely would lend them a hand from the distance.

Phoebe gasped again "Essay?! How is that fair?" She frowned, not knowing how she ended up writing an essay for Rockslide's wrong-doings. She could only ask herself what just happened. She sighed and rolled her eyes "Fine. I'll do it later" She said and marched past Cable, intent to head down to the kitchen for something tasty. She needed to cool down, take a soda or something to treat all this injustice. For now, a soda would have to do. She would get back on Rockslide though, with interest.
